I just received the oneui 6.1 beta on my s21u in may 15 2024, the most noticeable was the animation was so snappy. I really enjoying how fast and smooth swiping the screen of my phone, almost perfect animation for samsung devices.

One thing I dont like about 6.1 is that I usually use the three bars as my navigation (not the buttons, the bars) but Samsung removed them in 6.1. But I managed to get it back with GoodLock, a Samsung customization app. I havent really edplored the update, but so far it looks good!

So after the 6.1 update you can't choose notifications from the app. I'll have tried everything. But the sound is the same in every other app now. Have you the same problem?

I updated my S21 5G today at One U.I 6.1 from Romania! I like it

Just got 6.1 on my S22 Ultra in Denver may 11th with lots of AI

The new nav bar is kinda annoying tho if you're used to the 3 lines before.

So far so good. I received the update yesterday on my S21 Ultra 5G. I'm loving it. A great video.

Please, how is the lock screen customization with this update on the S21s

The battery protection seems cool. My s20+ camera started failing and nothing i did , even factory reset, would fix so I just got this phone (used, but in excellent, almost unused, condition) because i use the camera daily for work. I had my phone since it launched and never factory reset. 4 years of junk on it to back up lol, but...i would always leave the phone on the charger all night. During the day while working, i'd try to charge it to 100% when not in use (professional shopper) and as of yesterday, i could still go a entire day of heavy use and rarely get to 15% by 10pm. Never had problems with battery life diminishing or suddenly going from 30% to 5% (like older phones did) So, battery tech has evolved a lot. I've owned every Samsung phone since the Epic 4G and that phone i had to carry two extra batteries all day :D The copying image to other image feature.....damn....now this is awesome and something i never expected. I think i'll be using this a lot :D

I don't understand why every time there is an update, instead of adding things, they always remove things. For example. In the previous one, in the quick access panel one could place to activate Bluetooth in the middle of the screen so that it could be activated and deactivated with the thumb. Now it is only at the top right in an exclusive place?? So that? What sense does it make to place it there but not be able to choose other accesses? Now with the most recent update they removed the swipe gestures from within the navigation bar and are no longer at the bottom! Why do they remove it!!? Now not only that but the one hand operation application no longer works for me!! Before I could use both. I used that app to lower and raise the volume by sliding up or down on the screen!

This is what socks with androids, we may have the same phone but difference in software updates

My Samsung A15 5G just popped up with a available new update being the OneUI 6.1 update. I was wondering if it will have all the features that the higher teir models of the Samsung phones that also get the update. Especially being its OneUI 6.1 and not a OneUI 6.1 Core edition. I mean i know its not going to give me the same new AI features with the cameras that the Samsung S24 series phones haave like the circle to search and some stuff but will it have most of the same features that the other ones have with this new OneUI 6.1 edition? Or maybe it will have alll of the features they get and i just didnt expect it because my phone is a Samsung A series phone even though its a newly released one for this year. Does anyone know? I think if it is eligible to get the newest updates then they should all have the same features available to be used if they are all offered the update and not just some get certain features and others dont get those features unless the certain model of phone doesnt have the capabilities to support that offered feature that the other one can. I just think it should be that way and everyone gets the same features but im not even sure they don't get the same features. Thats why I decided to ask if it's different by the model of the phone or model tier of the phones. (A series, S Series, M series, Z Flip, Z Fold or whatever other series they still have.) It says the update is available and im downloading it now so i can install it. So im curious if anyone can let me know I'd be greatful and appreciate it so much. I posted another comment under this video where i asked soem questions. But idk when the update actually became available for me too download but i checked earlier in the afternoon on Monday and it said it was available to download and install, but when I tried to download the update content I got a error saying the Samsung server released the maximum amount of updates that it allowed to be updates already for that day. So it said to check later/the next day/after midnight or use a laptop that has or can download Samsung Smart Switch and downloaad it that way and install it. My Chromebook doesnt allow me to download Samsung Smart Switch (or at least it didnt show up for me) so i had to wait, but it just left me proceed to download it because its after Midnight. Idk if The OneUI 6.1 update is available for all the Samsung phones that will be eligible to get it by now or its just being trickled out in batches. My phone is the Samsung A15 5G currently and its available for me. I just finished downloading and installing it to my device. Im hoping to get the Samsung S23 FE or the Samsung A54 5G in a week or soo and not sure of which one to get. Anyone have any suggestions for which one i should pick? Or any info about which is better and will be supported for longer? Its appreciated. Im very Grateful and im sorry for the 2 long essay type comments lol They look like Book Reports or Essays with how long they are. 😂

Hey @MatthewsTech. Can you do a video on the one ui 6.1 causing screen issues on S21Ultra after the update. My screen is now unresponsive and I can't do anything else, and surprisingly, it works fine with the Use of an Spen. I tried restarting many times, booting in safe mode, clear cache, and even factory reset and still nothing.

I experienced the same issue, last week, had to flash my phone also... I guess the available update is not compatible with our devices, hopefully they will release more update, for now I won't be updating my phone also...😢😢

What does it say when you tried to update?

I feel for those folks who purchased this phone for 1k in 2021. I scored this phone new for 320, including taxes and shipping in Feb 2024 I think its better to buy older flagships than new budget phones such as the a54 Its cool the phone reveived 6.1 but sucks that it has a short shelve life for updates

After downloading the 6.1 update my battery life start to drain very fast.....but after I wiped my cache partition I got 5× better💯

got it yesterday for my s21 ultra i feel better animations and more fluid system great update but people must hard reset the device after updating to feel much diference

I know you mentioned you haven't seen much issues with battery drain with the new update. However, on my galaxy s21 ultra I have significant battery drain and overheating problems since the 6.1 update, its so bad I'm thinking about reverting to 6.0. Anyone else having these issues?

Circle to search really the only big addon for the 21Ultra. Bit of a cop out from Samsung - it's more than capable of doing some AI notes. Planned obsolescence strikes again.

The same thing happened on mine, I just updated to one ui 6.1 and the screen stopped responding, the only solution I found was going back to a previous version by flashing. 😢
