A12, android 12, march 2023 security patch. Enable usb debugging always fails (no popup on phone to allow) and sometimes it says Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. I tried windows 10 and 11 with all updates and different usb cables and ports Edit: SOLVED I used Odin to downgrade to a lowest version with the same binary version and it finally worked!

@@paolotaneo3509 mine was already on binary 8 so I could only use binary 8. The lowest I had was still android 12 from december. Not everyone might be as lucky as my situation. There is also the possibility to use a combination ROM but it might be harder to find

My S21 Ultra doesnt show up as a modem, but it does show up as a USB device, and the software wont detect the phone.

Your device must be on latest security. Try downgrade and then it might work.
