Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is 1.5 year old now & doesn't make sense in July 2023 for Rs 50,000. Better purchase any brand smartphone with Qualcomm 8+ Gen 1 or 2.

The Snapdragon 888 version of S21FE gets the Sony IMX555 sensor, while the Exynos model of S21FE relies on Samsung S5K2LD...the older samsung S20 Fe too used a Sony IMX555 camera...that's why difference in quality.

SD 888 is also manufactured by Samsung, so like its brother Exynos, it heats a lot, throttle and drains battery. I wish they had used SD7+gen 2 or even SD 782 would have been just fine

I tryed Gcam mod with the exynos version and i say the detail jump was similar to snapdragon variant. May be it just overprocessing in exynos variant for removing noise which make the video and photo less detailed .

By my personal experience , maybe the exynos is performing well in battery for now but after 1 or 2 years the battery drain will be fast. So Snapdragon is better for any cases here .

Actually there is a Change in Camera sensor as well! Thats why it produces better images According to GSMArena Review So, just like the Galaxy S20 FE, the Galaxy S21 FE has a 12MP camera that uses different sensors depending on the chipset model. The Snapdragon 888 version (ours) gets the Sony IMX555 sensor, while the Exynos model relies on Samsung S5K2LD. Both imagers have 1.8µm pixels, Dual-Pixel AF, and sit behind 26mm f/1.8 OIS lens. The ultrawide camera is a bit of an oddball - it has either Sony IMX258 or the Hynix Hi1336 - both are 13MP sensors with 1.12µm pixels behind 13mm f/2.2 lens and with a focus fixed at infinity. Whatever sensor turns out in your Galaxy S21 FE, it will save 12MP images - as advertised by the PR materials. The 8MP zoom camera uses a Hynix Hi847 sensor (just like the S20 FE) with 1.0µm pixels and 76mm f/2.4 OIS lens for 3x optical zoom over the main camera. And just like on the previous Fan Edition, this zoom camera also saves a bit upscaled 12MP photos for whatever reason. Finally, the 32MP selfie camera is also identical to the one on the S20 FE - it relies on a Sony IMX616 Quad-Bayer sensor with a 25mm f/2.2 lens, and a focus fixed at infinity. This camera, contrary to the majority of the Quad-Bayer selfie shooters, saves native 8MP images.

@@Rolexsk481 This must be true for almost every phone with 64 or 108 MP cameras in my opinion. We don't need more than 16 MP camera in a smartphone, that's for sure. Also, Google Photos Cloud Storage (Normal mode) compresses all images over 16 MP but upto that point, one cannot tell the difference in quality.

Fun fact: SD 888 is not manufactured by TSMC but made by Samsung. Note: TSMC processors are much more better than Samsung's processors and for that reason SD 888 and 8 Gen 1 are not that efficient processors.

Good and honest review but you should have also made it clear for people that 888 is fabricated by Samsung so it is better than Exynos ,but not good in terms of efficiency, consistency compared to other tsmc fabricated processors otherwise 4 years update ip rating wireless charging telephoto are bang for money even at 40k as people who purchase this device doesn't really care about performance i guess as they were purchasing the Exynos varient

Gupta ji dhanyawad for a wonderful comparison. I tried two times Samsung phone and both times there was network issue in the area where the network used to be less. At the same place oppo and Vivo perform wonderful. Please compare the network i feel xenos is not good for network reception or Samsung using cheap receptors.
