Why I will buy the S20+ over the Ultra 1. The shots on the 108 MP are not substantially better than the 12 MP default. I had to pinch zoom the photo to see any difference and even then it is not obvious. Mind you on the Ultra you have to select either 108 MP (high res but not that good in low light) or 12 MP (lower res but better in low light). On S20 there is only 1 option take it or leave it. The 108 mp shots also consume 10x more space, around 25 mb each photo! 2. For most practical purposes, 3x zoom is more than enough. 3. Easier to handle and much lighter. 4. $200 cheaper, i can use it to buy accessories or even upgrade the storage to 512 GB! 5. The camera set up at the back is so huge that my finger at the back frequently bumps to it. Try it at the store. For extra $200 you will get extra 500 mAh battery, better zoom, slightly better main camera. For my type of user it is hardly worth it. Frankly I would get the small S20 if it came with the galaxy buds pre order bonus! The size is perfect as it is.

Exynos👎(Everywhere else in the world gets the better Qualcomm 865). Too expensive considering the great value flagship killers around. I would consider Oppp, Realme and Oneplus if you want value, great specs and save over £600 or more. (Use the savings to buy a new XBOX X or playstation 5).

Even mi 10pro is on d way wid cheaper price, I'm waiting for d Oppo Find x2 nd Op 8pro as well. No wonder in my country OnePlus and Vivo have beaten Samsung in premium n midrange market respectively.

Brilliant reviews, I'm thinking of a new Samsung, can any of you guys help me out, I love my sound on my phone, which model if any comes with Dolby Atmos?

Can someone tell me if I am better off getting a locked version of the s20+ or unlocked version? I am leaning towards an unlocked version so I don't get all that garbage software that I never use which the carrier sticks on there, but sprint does provide lookout, my basic voicemail app. As for all the other apps like sprint spot, Sprint cloud binder, sprint backup are all useless. Suggestions?

So $1500 USD and no fast charger in the box? Where have we seen this before? Great devices but there is a slight smell of fruit here.

There is a fast charger, 25 Watts. technically, they provide fast charger. 45 Watts is the one u want, then sorry but u pay more. I know it sucks .

A great review, thanks. The 100X zoom though looks like just a marketing gimmick - even with some supposed AI assistance, the review shots show it is no better than blowing up an optically zoomed image afterwards. I've found on the S10+ it's best to stick to optically zoomed shots and used image editing to 'zoom in' as wanted later. That also has the advantage of letting you choose the zoom level later. A real shame about the 3.5mm jack going. I would also like to be able to have SD card *and* a second SIM card installed together instead of it being an either-or. I don't suppose that has changed with this model has it?

Sir, please explain whether the 64 Mega Pixels camera on Samsung A71 are superior or inferior to the 12 Mega pixels cameras on S20 and S20 +? Is it a downgrade or upgrade? How? 😃

The price.....WOW! After being a Huawei phone fan, due to their camera and price, I am due an upgrade but do not want a Chinese phone (or Chinese anything) ever again. Do not like Apple and despite loving the Google Nexus phones, never got into the Pixel version, so looking at these Samsung Galaxy phones but man, those prices, are insane! Looks like I will have to look at last years models, which I notice has just recently included a 'lite' model, unsure if you have done a review but it will be a contender with the 2019 Samsung Galaxy 10 phones. Price is way too high considering we get the lower grade Exynos processor in the UK. Should be discounted by a couple of hundred quid for that alone IMO.

@@Captain-Chats I would say so, the S10 has the latest Android version and has now updated to the latest UI.... I think you'll find quite a difference to your iPhone. Have a look at Sakitech's videos for tips on how to get the best out of your new S10

Something to note about 5G: the S20 (5G) does not include support for mmWave, which is easily twice as fast as sub-6 GHz. (Though has less range.) If you want the full speeds of 5G, I'd consider the S20 Plus or Ultra.

Why didn't they use 64mp telephoto lens instead of the 48mp one on the ultra? You would think that for the price they are charging, they would put the best specs for the ultra. The megapixels isn't everything argument is irrelevant for this phone since the main selling point is its 108mp main sensor. Also, why did they make it so big? I watch a lot of content on my phones but 6.4 is as big as I'm willing to lug around when i leave home. I don't want to have to carry around something that doesn't fit into my pants pockets. If I want to watch something on a big screen, I'll use my tablet or tv Samsung!

You can recor 8k video but the audio is shi we need the headphone jack back so we can plug a rode mic lav+ to have crisp audio.

The colours are disappointing. At least the base models had more than just black and grey, but even then, pink and blue? Was this handset designed by first time amateur phone designer 5 yr old kids? They should have made the back cement, instead of glass, matt instead of glossy. Even the frosted glass back on the iphone 11 would have been much better. Also, the colour of the earbuds are so bad. Black, white and grey? The grey looks so dull and drab and dreary. The materials and colours team certainly failed this time round at giving the phone a good look to match it's impressive internals. I was disappointed there were no mention of any cases in the unpacked event. This phones need a skin or a case without a doubt.

In the UK there is No Qualcomm 865. I will to see what oneplus brings out in May.

Surprisingly, s20 is the same weight as s9. The battery is also evolving.

The Ultra is the better of the three and well Samsung can go and take a running jump as the price of that thing would mean I would need to sell my left kidney, my liver and a working right hand-side bollock to be able to buy one, as I need all three more than a phone I will stick with my Samsung A40 which is a little smaller than expected but is good enough for me.

Dude is wrong they can 45 watt fast charge. He said 15 watt charging and they actually come with a 25w charger in the box.

Again, Samsung sets the standard in mobile industry. Shame, Samsung S10 Ultra is out of sock already. I will buy it without blinking. S10 Ultra is better to hold than the Note 10+ and iPhone 11 despite of the bigger display. Fantastic phone.!!! I don't think iPhone can catch up.

Yes, it has 12GB for the 5G version. The Exynos s20 has just 8GB. I got the Snapdragon and it has 12 😍

Will the US versions have the same Snapdtagon chipset that doesnt allow 3rd party camera control? Come on Samsung...get over it.

Try to buy from ebay or websites where people sell unopened boxes with warranty. It is so much cheaper. I got the S20 Snapdragon for 700€ instrad of 1050€

These phones aren't as big as a phone booth from the 80s.

Oh and sacking off the 3.5 Jack = 👎

Let's be honest about this, the digital zoom quality is very poor.... and the phones are complete over priced...

Here's what I've been thinking, If you are actually able to find some good footage of the huawei p30 pro zoom - I personally find what that phones capable of very impressive and I would be very happy with even THAT so I figure, the Ultra will be at very least as good as the p30 pro and I'm very happy with that. Yes, what can you expect from 100x zoom though lol...

Because Snapdragon and Oxyness versions have different cameras. At least it was what happened in S10. The Snapdragon had better camera unfortunately. USA and China get much therefore much better phones for the same price!

18.5:9 to 21:9 was hella jarring at the time. People took longer to get used to it. So the even taller 21.9:9 aspect ratio wouldn't have repulsed people THATt much ( and I mean the display's HDR 10+, 120hz refresh rate & 240hz) touch-response rate quirks would've helped as well :3)

Said S20Ultra cost $1,500 and it lasts for 5 years. so each year cost $300, each month is $25, and each day in a month cost .83 cent. so it a good deal I'm going to buy the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.

If it wasn't for USB-C headphones i'd sack this phone off. Couldn't give a fuck about multi mega pixels or 8K if i have to screw around with stupid ear buds.

So much bloatware going on around minute 3:50 ... Face-palming. Instant face-palming.

shows a phone in black (washed out grey), blue (your typical bathroom pastel blue) and pink (the grandma kind of pale rose/pink).. with slight size difference .. and exclaims that the FIRST difference is the size. I guess that makes you a smart phone nerd. For normal people .. the first difference surely is the COLOUR! lol Also .. those colours are hideous .. what happened to saturated crimson or a deep navy blue? They look like they were left in the sun and bleached out for months ...
