Almost as if it would be easier to just buy another phone. Samsung of course... Just no need for this abomination of a procedure.
Pro tip: use an ice cube tray for parts. Don't go criss cross, go from one side to the other in a straight line. Place all the parts of each component in the pocket, don't separate covers, part and screws. Then just start from the back on reassembly. This will save you a lot of mental space.

What do you mean by don't separate covers, part, and screws? You have to separate the screws accordingly in the order you removed them. Not sure exactly what you mean

2:46 it is impossible that you could taken the battery off so easily. Samsung permanently glues their battery into the phone

So basically this video is a dangerous pos? Like, it will literally get you to almost disassemble your phone until you hit a roadblock that you may or may not be able to pass. Amazing.

@@orlandoperrin1339 it's like $250 USD to replace the screen on an S20. I looked because my screen needs replaced. Screw that. I will buy a screen and the necessary tools to do the job. Not paying no 250. Samsung is out of their mind if they think I'm paying that!

They likely either taken it apart beforehand or used some alcohol in between shots to dissolve the adhesive holding the battery down

Unless you got 10k laying about for s refurb setup you wont be able to change the glass itself

Had a shop do this for my phone. And when i got it back the temperature sensor on the phone isnt working when i charge it. Says the phone is too cold even when im out side in 95 degree weather.

No the s20 fe is diffrent than a s20 so it will not work

Screen protector doesn't protect the screen from partially disconnecting after you drop it. Did that last night. Half my screen doesn't respond to touch anymore.
Why is it so much easier to replace iPhone screen then Samsung. I mean, iPhone take like 15-20 minutes, but here you need to take out so many parts and screws and put everything back.
Kind of pointless. Parts are effectively unavailable. Out of stock on your site, and if they were in stock, it would cost about $150 more than just having a Samsung auth dealer make the repair.

It really depends on the tools, if you use hairdryer then it's gonna be a struggle, but if you use a proper heat gun and heat for enough time then it's gonna be easier. Also I believe this is not a brand new device and has been opened up for previous videos so the adhesive isn't that strong anymore.
