i just cracked the back of my s10, my heart freaking broke, imma give it a go see if i can fix it

Valuable & interesting video. Broke my S10+ back cover glass in the upper right corner after finally dropping it one too many times. My cover had torn up & I haven't got a new one yet - without the cover, this phone is slick & easy to drop. Foolish me!! Thank you.

I was very nervous about this, but I got it done in less than 15 minutes. The key for me was to use the heat gun set at low and run it around the edges longer than the KZreadr did. The cover came off much more easier for me.

@@ravitejaangoor9897 I bought a refurbished original cover. It came with a microscopic strach but I didn't mind it considering its price. It costed £14.7 in total.

Shattered mine just months before I plan on trading for the s21 ultra 😅 glad it's an easy job

So to make it fully waterproof you have to glue around the entire thing? Where would you apply the glue? On the strips or on the inside near it?

what clamps should i use to clamp the backglass to the phone without damage the lcd

I did it as you showed. It works! However with new back cover ,camera operating at x1.0 magnification has a blury image. Has this back camera glass a certain distance I have to keep? Or I just have bought a low quality glass? Second question: It is possible that broken back glass goes into a camera lens mechanics and block it somehow

Bartosz Nowak yes if I was you I would take the back off and check the camera and make sure it’s fine without. You could have broken glass inside between the camera and not letting it focus. You will need a can of compressed air to try and get it out. Don’t touch the lens whatever you do

So the back glass comes with the camera lense pre installed?

Hi. My daughter dropped my s10 today and cracked the back in 2 places. I got it 1 WEEK AGO. I noticed that the metal part is dented and that seems to be where the cracks started. If there is a ding in the metal, will I still be able to fix it? Also, if I have an friend repair it for me, what is a reasonable price?

Stephanie McCusker we charge about 35-40.00 to replace the back. The ding shouldn’t matter if it goes in but if it pops out then it could affect the new glass.

Thank you! I spoke to my tech friend and he said it can be easily fixed on my own, so I only have to pay the 8 bucks to ebay for the back from the ad on your video. He did advise me to straighten the metal first. I'm thinking if I I don't, I won't be able to make the back flush.

can we use foldback clip for fix the back glass?

Will a hair dryer work if I don't have a heat gun, is it powerful and hot enough? Thanks!

Honestly just spend the $25-$75 and get a cheap heat gun. You'd be surprised how many uses the thing has. And how often you'll actually use it.

My S10+ has 2 scratched camera lenses, broken back glass and and no camera glass cover...can u assist me...im in south africa

I had this same phone in my back pocket today and apparently backed into something pointed. It shattered the back screen and dented into it. It won't even turn on now. Did I totally ruin it or is something like that fixable?

Well worse case if you really want to have it fixed there are places to have it done. I would recommend IPad rehab in ny if you needed to get the info off if it didn’t back up

My back glass cracked for no reason at all never been dropped without a case not sure what happened. I'm getting the S21+ next

I broke mine testing out a mous case. The front glass was fine, but the rear glass smashed to pieces.

No, its best to assume if it is not factory sealed it will never be water proof again. Even if you replace it yourself and put water sealing glue. You might never get it accurate. So once it's broken its best to assume you can never dunk it in water again.

Hey why don't you just take the camera back out of the new one and put it in the back of the old one? You said the only thing that was broken on it was the camera lens correct? So take the camera lens from the new one and put it on the Samsung brand it back and replace it with the old one!🤔😉

It is still gonna be waterproof? Please tell

Just buy cheap one on amazon and send it back ,once you're done. Think that's what I'm gonna do. Amazon are really good with returns.

Loser loser club it wouldn’t be but you possibly could if you used b7000 around every opening. Even then I wouldn’t trust it 100% buy a new phone if you need it to be water proof for work or something.
