I appreciate that you comparing Samsung phones rather than iPhone right now. People would like to know if they should upgrade. I don't have iPhone and I don't care for any comparions with the iphone. I rather see other Samsung or Android phones go head to head first.

@@itadoriyuji4163 Well true there are some people who might want to upgrade from the iPhone to an android or Samsung phone. But the number isn't that high when it comes to switching platform. People that upgrade to the next Samsung phones are current Samsung users or other Android users. Therefore I stated that it is better to compare it to the previous Samsung phones over the iphone. They can compare the iPhone for later videos but for me I rather see if there is much difference going from current ones to the new one first.

Thanks so much for a detailed comparison! I have just purchased Note 20 Ultra and while I am super happy, it is enormous and on the heavy side. Kind of miss smaller and easier to hold devices. As soon as the protective case arrives, I will hopefully feel more comfortable using it. :)

While the ultra has more pronounced audio muffling, it is an overall better phone especially for low-light shots. The tradeoff is when you're shooting an indoor live musical (or any performance) you must put up with slightly low quality audio. The S20 nails the audio but does a wacky job a stills in low-light. Both are great phones, just have to sale my kidneys to get either. Great review!

Great comparison. Thank you. Can you manually select the telephoto lens on both phones? I'm struggling with the note 10+ that sometimes does not switch to the telephoto lens and fools me with a digital zoom instead. (does not tell me if the zoom used is optical or digital)

Are you sure she will like such a huge phone? I am a big guy and Note 20 Ultra feels enormous and rather heavy now that I bought it. My Samsung S8+ feels light and more pleasant to hold than the Note 20 Ultra monster. I got it for the S Pen and intend to use it as a laptop replacement for my studies thanks to Dex, but honestly, I do not feel happy about its massive size. Just double check with your wife, give her your S20 Ultra to use for a few days and see if she enjoys it.

Pls do more low light shots of people. This is by far the hardest type of situation to get a usable picture but can be the most important eg birthday parties

One thing that pauses me from upgrading from Note9 is that I still see that a lot of shots on the selfie camera have that trademark Samsung motion blur, which 99% of times is not visible on Pixel and iPhone. Very relevant when you're next to someone and want to capture the moment on the go and it is the only pain point I have with my Note 9 and I didn't have with most my iphones.

Audio only comes out of my earpiece speaker when you play video on the Note 20 but I hear stereo sound from both speakers when you play video on the S20. Watching on my OnePlus 7 Pro.

Also notice at 11:52, they were taken at different times of day, and on different days. The clouds are different, the chair positioning is different.

This is what I've been waiting for. This answered how people overreacted about how bad s20 ultra was, when the problems it was having is already fixed lol. But really though, it makes me mad at why they waited 6 months to do it instead of doing it right in the first generation.

First time iev seen a comparison between thede 2 where rhe note looked better firdt time it actually looks like the note has kore color and depth which is different then any other reviewer has said and shown the note is usually has much less color the s20 ultra was much crisper in most of the images tbh lol the bacon had more contrast on the s20 ultra also not the note20 ultrs as ylu can see the bacon was darker and more detail dark lines im guessing you are overseas also bevause this is def the exynos version

Also my note 20 ultra picture are not sharp at all i dnt knw wht they did to those cameras but they are not worht it.
