For reballing, does the flux paste get absorbed by the power IC chip shown after the heat gun is placed on top of the chip and when the chip cools?

THIS SOLUTION IS VERY GOOD THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I HAVE A GALAXY NOTE 2 MODEL SPH-L900, IT DOESN'T TURN ON I CHARGED THE BATTERY WITH A UNIVERSAL CHARGER AND IT DOESN'T TURN ON I CAN DO THE SAME THING YOU DID WITH THE NOTE 2 SGH-L317M

Yes.exactly as done in the video.locate the power ic and reball it @250 degree heat and 4.5 air for 1 to 3 minutes

After reballing it’s either the phone powers on or it goes dead. However make sure you are reballing the right ic else you permanently damage the motherboard.

Sorry, for the misunderstanding. My phone is totally dead: black screen, nothing light when I plug in the charger, but it outputs voltage on the battery pins: V (middle pin - minus pin) = 5.2V, V (plus pin - middle pin) = 5.2V. So I guess that maybe the others ICs of the phone need reballing. What is your opinion? Do I have to try reballing or maybe do something else?
