Hi, I'm a galaxy buds and buds plus user and I'd have to clarify that you have to turn on the gaming mode on the advance feature in the settings. After you turn that on, the latency would significantly reduce and you'd hardly ever notice the lag even when gaming. Pls like so that other viewers will see this as well, Thankyou Edit: you have to have a samsung galaxy device to enable it, but pairing it to windows pc have low latency too, I play valorant with them and hardly notice any lag

@keechmabreeks but I can still control everything on my laptop using galaxy buds plus, maybe it depends on the model or device because some of them may not support the buds plus controls.

My honest opinion goes like this: These are the first ear-buds I can use! Not even talking about the sound, which is on par with my wired Sennheisers (almost). The open design and the fact that that you can also have a perception of what's around you is a great feature and my primary reason to love them. The noise canceling works, but there is a catch; they don't do white noise canceling like over the ear Bose do... You will get noise canceling but it's a different approach, just like the entire design. You can go and go and go with these buds without having any sort of discomfort... Hope this will help someone who might be in the market.

@@iamsurajsharma I got the black ones to go with my black Note 20 Ultra. YES, I got the black one because it appears that everybody gets the pink one. I say pink, because to my eye it's pink, girly, call it whatever; I got a black one (LOL). I don't play games AT ALL. I actually don't need them, but hey... When not connected to my phone (and there is ZERO latency), I use them while on my Nordic Track s22i bike, during exercising and watching content on a big screen TV and because I do so at night, in my mancave, I wear headphones and now these... I also use the Amazon stick for content because I love the tiny remote. The buds were paired to the Amazon stick 4K and ZERO latency again. I did not have a lip-sync problem yet and I don't believe I will.

@@A.Dude. Thanks man for a detailed response. Appreciate it. I was thinking of getting Sony 1000XM4 when it launches in my region. Now after listening all the good things about buds live (beans) . I'm thinking of getting this one. My main requirement is listening to audio books and some instrumental music whole working, and playing some games occasionally on my OLED and working out. (kinda worried it can fall if I move too much). I can carry buds live anywhere I want, it's small and very travel friendly compared to xm4 because of its size. I have S10plus ceramic black model. But I'm leaning towards bronze/pink color because its different and it also gets matched up a little with my skin tone. I guess I have to visit the store and check both black and bronze before buying them. By the way mate, pink is a manly color. I couldn't believe the first time I heard. Read the history of pink and you'll know mate. 😊

I just got mine yesterday and I love them, and I can keep them in my ear and they do not hurt. Due to certain medical conditions and allergies when I used previous earbuds it would always cause a stuffy uncomfortable feeling. My ears would be more stuffy and congested so I just stopped using them,but these lay on top and just the tip goes in. I can wear them for hours and not have a problem.

If they were not shiny they would look like hearing aids

A tip folks, ear tips make a very big difference. I use the smaller tip on the left pair and the larger tip with the right bean and that produces the best fit for me. Both ears won't follow the same shape. It also takes a week to adjust to the learning curve and learn the way how to fit them into your ears well.

Came here for Buds Live. Left with a KZread Premium subscription. Music, no ad videos and offline video downloads sounds good!

I don't understand the craving for ANC when the Buds+ when playing cancel just about all noise since they are so snug in your ear. The battery life with the + is icing on the cake.

I loved them last night, I was playing dnd in a small room with other people and an loud AC. ANC didn't remove all the noise it made it reduced so I could focus

I'm happy with mine because they don't go inside your ear. Plus, you are still able to hear your surroundings. I want hear my music,but I also want to know what's going on!! The in ear ones would give me a headache and would feel like I lost one of my senses (hearing).

I've had mine a week now, got them free from Samsung when upgrading my phone. Apart from wearing them wrong at first I love them. Good sound without cutting out the outside noise so good for walking in near traffic. They did make my ears a little sore at first but after a few days I got used to them and find them very comfortable. Would highly recommend these.

I just lost my case of the earbuds+, and I know there is no way to find them. Is it possible to only buy the case? Cuz if it's not, I actually want to buy these Buds Live. But then, I still have the Buds+ without case...

I just got these today, i'm very satisfied with what i got because of it's comfortability and bean design.

Not sure if you're aware, but there is a "gaming" setting on them that you can select to eliminate the latency.

Thanks to tell me about the extra rubbers came with them, now they are comfortable

Pre ordered the Black ones from the Samsung website, they're giving away a Samsung wireless charger with pre orders. Only wish they were Matte instead of the Gloss finish, perhaps a skin might be available!

Sometimes on a call I need to speak in a really low voice such as: if I get a call in between a meeting or if I had to pick up a call in the middle of a movie (assume I have the buds on me for the sake of it). So how well does the other party be able to listen to me?

I had the same problem you did, after about an hour they would start hurting the inside of my ear. Thank you , you ae the first youtuber to cover that.

Just got these In Mystic Red and they are truly comfortable in the ear.

I feel this shape/fit would work well in a motorcycle helmet. As long as the ambient sound is decent enough, that is.

Thanks for the helpful video. My Buds Live (really, really should have been called Beans, due to the different feature-set / open-air type and design..) Have owned the original Buds since day one; all good, but I'm the type who feels the pressure due to the rubber tips, after about an hour or so. Hoping that the Buds Live removes that issue.. and doesn't create any further ones. Usually listen to pod-casts/radio, so not one to deafen myself with loud music nowadays. Hope the audio is good for that type of listening.

No, they don't have that feature because it has no edges

Latency? I think their were some other reviewers that would disagree. Also, they have a dedicated gaming mode that is meant to bring that latency to a minimum. I own a pair and even without that Gaming mode, I have virtually no latency. At least I am unable to see it

Yea that surprised me i have buds+ and i never had any latency issues so i wasnt sure what he meant

Having REALLY small ear canals (even the smallest silicon thingamajigs work themselves out of my right ear after a few minutes) these look really promising ( I like Apple's open earbuds for that reason). Completely locking up the ears also tends to give me mild vertigo and weird hearing sensation, so I really like the open design. Not good for noise cancelling? Oh well. It doesn't do wonders even with over-ear headphones either. Nice to cancel the predictable drone of a flight, but other than that I don't think I'll ever miss it.

The noise cancellation works well. I was flipping back and forth while in a noisy environment and I could tell the difference(it's not completely cancelled but significant enough to drop my jaw). My wife must be on the same frequency because I couldn't hear her either so great option! I would describe it visually with the "Up" scene of when Carl(the main character) turn the volume all the way dow on his hearing aid. Not quite that great but close.

What was the device on the wall you used to stick the buds live on? I'm sure charging but what is it?

My Galaxy Buds just Stutter when in my pocket, or completely disconnect. I've tried everything. Restarting both, rebooting ear phones, and turning off battery optimization for Bluetooth. Can anyone help me?

the actual color is not as pink as in videos it is more bronze just a little lighter

Thanks l got these they are really amazing only that my ears are small.

On both the Galaxy Buds+ and these new Buds Live, I took the rubber tips off, that part of my ear is small and it hurts to have them on. Even without them on, both the Buds+ and the Live stay in my ear.

@Erick Callixto My problem didn't resolve actually. Even after taking off the wing it does hurt alot. Especially the ear canal. I guess I made a wrong decision and wasted my money. God help!

@@safashukkur5868 Hi. Yes my problem did resolve. Actually I dont know how the issue resolved but now there are very comfortable to my ear. I figured maybe I wasnt doing the right manuever to wear them. But still to be honest i dont know what happened but my issue resolved after a week on its own, 1 week after i made this comment. I think we get used to of it. Btw i practiced alot trying to figure the most comfortable way to fit them. Possibly i found one. But dont worry! Your issue will resolve too.. I pray. I can actually feel for you coz I remember the pain the i used to get and i even cried due to that and realising that you spent alot of money on this painful earbuds. But Alhamdullilah my issue resolved! Btw i didnt take off the earwings.

Go to your local Tesco and then Paly with the ANC,it works very well

There is lower delay profile for games did u check that????

My right bud live died! Yup! It won't charge! The inside light goes from red to green then red again. Not blinking. On the wareables app it shows in black, not even a percentage, just dead black. While the case and left bud is at 100%. I tried resetting and nothing!

I have to say I am impressed by the buds live. Fits perfectly in my ear and actually blocks out all the ambient noise. I haven't even used the ANC feature. Also think they sound better than my buds plus.

Latency?! Even with the low latency toggled on?

Correct, it's not the best I've used, seems inconsistent

you can use them for youtube music. I set my budsplus to work with YT music by adding new command and for the life of me trying to find how I did that now I can't. I will try again and let you know how I did it.

If you go to YT music and go to setting and make sure you tick allow external devices to playback via bluetooth so when you wear the buds you just need to double tap to start playing youtube music also if you go to bixby and go to settings you can make up phrase saying play youtube music then find YTMusic to link with this command Then this allow you to speak to bixby to also open yt music hope this helps.

I have the Buds plus and never have latency issues. I'll stick with mine.

Tell us what your really think this is a glorified add Can you run with them, that's all I care about

The hardware of the buds live is brilliant. Software is still in beta, it will get better. Noise canceling is fixed by software update.

Allergic to silicon on bud tips, I need something that doesn't go in my ear canal or a raging ear infection ensues the next day.

They have a gaming mode, that can be turned on but I'm sure it kills the battery life

Returning mine for they have the weakest volume of any buds I've used.

Doesn’t feel the same without the intro music 🥺

Have you been using false tan?

I had these. I had to return them. Just after setting them up I received a message to update the Buds Live. This update made the Buds Live unusable. The sound in the left ear almost disappeared and a horrible echo was present making things like watching TV undoable. Also my battery life dropped to 4 hours even with Noise Cancelling off. I did try to use these with the noise canceling on for cutting grass but there was no real difference between noise canceling on or off. When you had a perfect fit and the buds were in the perfect spot the sound quality was exceptional. Maybe the second generation will be better. Also I called Samsung multiple times and they were not helpful at all.

The only thing I'm not a fan of with these is the amount of sound leakage when the volume is turned up just a bit. Had a guy at the library shush me cuz he could hear the buds from 3 feet away 😥

Honestly I can't giveup my 11+hours of non charging battery life on my Buds+.... sorry. Perfect for my commute to work + 8 hour shift+ commute back home without charging.

P.S. As someone who prefers "in concha", as opposed to "in ear canal" buds, these are definitely the way for me to go.

I agree. My ears start to hurt after well less than an hour of use! I bought it yesterday and i cant seem to return them no more. So frustrating. Just a waste of money!

You don't get them unless you ordered from Samsung website. You will have to do claim on Samsung members app after 21st if you ordered from anywhere else
