I don't see just how much more unique/creative you can get with earbuds before it gets obnoxious, but these are definitely quite different. I appreciate the features, and if the performance is there, I'll get used to the design.

Exactly so many people are complaining about Samsungs lack of creativity at this unpacked event, like how creative can you get with a smart watch, or literal earbuds.

It’s basically which AirPods Pro already have but I’m happy they went this direction because I personally hate the seed-like design because it pauses every time I adjust the grip of the previous generation Galaxy Buds Pro.

@@Pearloryx you can use the Buds widget on your phone's home screen to disable the touch function momentarily so you can do whatever you want without affecting playback or volume. You can re-enable touch when you like by tapping on the widget again.

Man I'm torn on this. My Galaxy Buds 2 pro are showing their age. I don't plan on upgrading my Z Flip 5 because there's like 0 major differences on the newer model, but here everything is different and I'm equally offended. It's an interesting dichotomy.. We as consumers are never satisfied, huh?

​@wiktoriajenne3352 It was a big upgrade from my original Galaxy Buds to the Buds2 Pro. If you want to save a bit of money you can probably get the Buds2 Pro relatively cheap. They are really amazing noise cancelling earbuds.

The silver ones are pretty dark in my opinion, they look black in certain lighting. But I get what you mean, Samsung hasnt been releasing alot of Black devices lately. Its all White, Silver, or a light grey color.

I'm assuming battery charge, noticed that there's no battery indicator light for the individual earbuds like previously so I'm guessing the blade lights are for that purpose

Yes. Also use the discounts too like first responder or something. They don't ask you to verify and I just ordered my buds 3 with a $75 trade in for $100 ( I am a first responder fyi they just didn't ask Me to verify it)

They go back to the same oval eartips as they did on the 1st buds pro... i bought this pair and only used it for several times since it never felt comfortable to my ears (and probably many others too) which felt quite hurt and very loose so i sold them again just a week after. The round eartips on buds2 pro are so much better and much more convenient which adds up to the listening experience, i dont get why they chose to go back to that oval design. I was so eager to switch to the buds3 pro but after seeing the details from this video I revoke this idea. And the regular buds3 dont even seem interesting either.

Visibility. If your playing music and someone talks to you, they will see the blade lights and understand that you're listening to music and can't hear them.

I have the original pro and wanted to see with trade in credit, discount and the reserve credit I got it down to 85 bucks with taxes (I did spring 5 bucks more on shipping to get it on the 24th) definitely worth with that much savings

The previous model was more discrete in the ear. This new design with the blade looks like a backwards step in innovation.

The buds have newer codec, which gives much better audio quality. The problem is that it's unclear if older phones will get the support of that codec. Buds itself will definitely work with my phone, no doubt, just worried if I'm gonna get the full experience ( AI of course not included) with sound quality and etc.

they'll work completely fine after all it's BT and it's a Samsung phone. however I think you will not get the 24bit audio with S21U but other than that it should be fine

You won't get the app and it won't sound anywhere near as good

The position of capacitive touch slider are very controversial and seems uncomfortable. But I still grateful for this brave step forward of Samsung though it really looks like an Airpods. 😅
