hahaha the weather information for the A51 was last updated at 9:56pm and for A71, 8:02pm. They get their weather information from the same server lol. If he refreshed them both, they would read the same weather

It's for us to decide he just told us all the pros and cons of them. To me it is worth it for the extra 2 gigs of ram, better performance(specifically gaming), faster charging, and slightly better normal camera

Well he is actually reviewing if the a71 is more bang for your buck (which it obviously is) and is it enough of an improvement for the extra 100$. Of course, this is mostly personal preference, like comparing gucci to something unbranded.

I think it is because it has way better CPU which will be more important now since it will get android 13. Also you get a way bigger battery and and DISPLAY. I am only buying this phone because the display. I had 5.8 s8 now I want a really big display phone so a71 bigger the better.

I ended up getting a Xiaomi Mi 9T (Pro). 6.5" super AMOLED screen, no bezel, no punchole, pop up selfie camera, 4,000 MAh battery, 2nd generation under screen fingerprint reader, Snapdragon 855, 6-8 GB RAM, 128-256 GB onboard storage, Amazing Sony quad camera setup on the back, GSM unlocked, Gorilla Glass 6 on front 5 on back, has an entire app just for downloading custom themes and icon packs. The phone is basically a OnePlus 7 Pro with a screen 0.2" smaller. You can get the Pro for ~$300 and the base version has the same specs but with a Snapdragon 760 for ~$200

Go to display and then go to visibility enhancements on the galaxy A71 and then go to to colour adjustments and then turn it on and then go to personalised colour and set it up and then turn the intensity to high and you will get better colours Note:also works for the A51

Both great looking phones. I think I prefer the 51, as having had a One Plus 3T and an iPhone 6s+ and never really feeling comfortable about having them in my pocket and ending up carrying them around all the time and frightened that I'd leave them somewhere, I prefer a smaller form factor.

I'm really beginning to think that for most people we're spending entirely too much on our phones. The issue, is that the majority of major US carriers that they don't carry devices like these. You walk in and they pretty much only have the flagship phones.

Processor and RAM would be worth the extra cash. The punch hole on the A71 looks bigger also. Maybe it's a different sensor.

@Genah Syde a51 has models with more RAM too. But the improved battery, camera, display,charging, processor make the a71 quite clearly better. Question is just the trade off for the price. I dont game a lot so i took the a51, i also got a good deal with it on amazon. But for people who game i'd suggest the a71. The a51 does work well for gaming but if you will play a lot def go for a71. These phones are way better value for money than s series

I have the a50 should have waited for the a71 but at the same time here in new Zealand the a50 cost me 398 nz dollars and the a51 costs 598 and the a70 649 🙃

After a full year of owning the A71... I appreciate the screen's strength the most. I dropped my A71 over 100 times. Because it's so large and thin and slippery. But... It's never cracked. My A71 screen is still in perfect condition. Since nothing is more infuriating than dropping your phone only to retrieve it from the ground and notice it's permanently ruined... it's cracked. And once there's one crack, additional cracks splinter from it much more easily. Basically, once you have 1 crack your phone is ruined forever. So screen strength is one of the most important features. The A71 has that strength.

They are both such good phones and its so hard to choose but i would have to go with the A51 mostly cos it costs less

Even for non budget conscious shoppers, if you dont play heavy games a lot and you dont need ab 8K camera then i would suggest these phones to anybody over the s series

For me the camera is really important so I kinda want to buy the a71 but at the same time, when I tried the phones in a store, I felt like the a71 is a bit too big for me and also it costs like 100€ more so...argh I really can't decide haha

As soon as you zoom in it uses the telephoto camera, so your logic around the 48mp and 64mp wide angle lenses being great at retaining detail when you zoom is completely wrong, if your going to be a pro reviewer learn about pixel binning and what mp was all about in the first place, ie.. General detail and how big a picture you could print... Now it's just about putting pixels together to make less noise.. Jeez

@@KevinBreeze not if its a optical zoom... I agree digital zooming is trash. I take it you accept my point on the main lenses having no effect on retaining detail when zooming then.. Btw keep up the comparison video's between older upper range phones and new budget phones! They are good, but work on your camera game..

The a51 is incredible for the price I love it. I have a one plus 6t and I like the a51 over it.

That’s correct, it’s not being carried by an US carriers at the moment, but you can use it with US carriers.

the a51 won’t last as long as the a71 as another KZread’s made a video of the a51 after 60 days of its release date and he mentioned that the phone got a lot slower. This doesn’t mean that the a51 isn’t a bad phone.

the a51 does not have a snapdragon processor version and the a71 doesnt have an exynos processor option so i was wrong, ive edited the comment to not have that information in it, also, good to see that your looking at new comments from your videos even if the comment is on a video that is older than a month or two, good job! thanks for helping me decide my next phone!
