hey umm since you own an A71 can you answer me this question: ¿is it true that the A71 can't answer calls well, like a normal phone does? Is cuz I heard some ratings and they say that it's bad at phone calls.

@@jaseel25 I haven't had any battery draining issues at all. I easily get through a full day with this using a mix of wifi and mobile data throughout my day. When using location services alot (meaning having it on all day) you will notice a bit more battery drain that normal but besides that the phone has been completely solid.

The only thing that keeps me from jumping on this phone (at $375 directly from Samsung for the T-Mobile version. $400 for Verizon) as opposed to the s20 FE is the lack of dual speakers. I really enjoy a decent sound when I'm streaming videos.

Samsung jacked up the price of the S10 by $100 or more. This phone will sell because of that alone. S10 was about $650, is now $750 or $1,150 for the 512 gb version. This phone is $650.

I just got the Samsung A51 5G from Tmobile instead of the A71 5G, so far its a win. I'm sorry but with the Samsung A71 5G and A51 5G out there's really no reason to buy a Samsung S20 or Samsung S10.

The 5g variant seems more like a bargain the the non 5g variant due to the fact that we are gonna get faster speeds

Unfortunately the International version has no US warranty. The one in the link is International. Just FYI.

You should do internet speed test and battery drain test on the 5G version

Here's a pretty specific question for anybody that might know; How does the A71 5G speaker compared to that of the LG G6 when video streaming (Netflix/KZread). I'm talking about he sound regular talking watching a show, not necessarily some profound music audio listening.

I have 4 samsung a71 5g smartphones still use them today , they are awesome. Crystal clear screen. Ex battery life . I got them all for $425. A little over 100 bucks each. I can't see paying $1000 ++++ on a dang smartphone . Does everything I need ,highly recommend the phone in 2022 .. These phone companies have been ripping consumers off for years with there ridiculous high prices ,I'm not gonna be part of it.

Almost 600$ Difference between A71 and iphone 11 Pro Max .. and the Display Quality and Colors goes to Samsung.

Got the A71 5G(Snapdragon 765), for $300...a T-Mobile trade in deal. Solid phone, great display.

@Alex L no wireless charging but go on tmobile site, if you have a recent phone like the the s8 or iphone 8 series and newer you literally get the phone free. If you have iphone 7 or galaxy s7(like i did) you get 300 bucks off. Traded in my s7 for this so it was well worth it considering that phone barely has value

I believe you are incorrect. In the US the 5G variant of the galaxy A71, except for the Verizon version, all have an Exynos 980 processor.

It actually has the Snapdragon 765G processor.

I downloaded the user manual of both phones, the difference I found is that there is NO CREATE MOVIE OPTION on the a71 which in my understannding is only available on a71 5g

I just purchased this phone 5G...unfortunately when the phone was updating the software the phone locked 🔒 itself and it saying ...put your 4 letter passcode in which I never did any security to begin with...I transfer all my data including family photos and due to this glitch I lost everything 😢 I took the phone to my cel company where I bought it and they were trying to reset it...but it did not work...so they told me the phone has to be reset...had no choice...lost all my family photos...learned a lesson in technology. Event hough is a brand new phone 📱 you'll never know what would you encounter. Otherwise so far so good with this phone..I will trade it in a couple of months for the S20 Note Thank you Saki..great reviews..👍👍👍

You don't use Google Backup? Its pretty hard to lose photos if you use Google Drive or Google Photos...just for future reference

Whats the battery life on medium power saver? The reason i ask is i have a glucose monitor that sends readings to my phone. I have note 9 with a battery case im looking to upgrade.

Just bought this phone today. Only had it a few hours but I can't tell the difference from my old S9+.

my note 8 is broken, enough where it's a drag to use it, so I bought this phone used online for $290 USD. Here is to the future... It comes next year :)

I got an a71 5g for $200 and free service because of the Government ACP program. The camera is fantastic.

I had the LG G7 thin Q. Sprint is replacing it with this phone. I had a phone guard/ cover on the old phone. Does this phone need one too?

I order this phone with google FI its 18 dlls per month/ 24 months and I'm in the flexible plan so its going to be around 60-65 for phone and plan and at least 2 or 3 gb per month, during this pandemic im not using 5g at the moment, I wil lswitch later to unlimited plan, looks like a good deal

Compared to my S8+ this is a good upgrade

I'll take my s10+..thx..loving it

I bought a 71 5g for 425 bucks. Open box from best buy. Love it.

Well now I'm extremely nervous. I thought I researched pretty good before I ordered this phone from the Samsung website for $375 for the T-Mobile version, but now two days later I'm coming across all these post in the T-Mobile community and Sansom community websites about how horrendous this phone is. Maybe that's the reason Samsung was offering it for 375 for the T-Mobile version. The stuff Ive read almost makes me just want to send it back without even opening the box.

How about comparing Galaxy S9 plus versus Galaxy A71 5G, what the best bet?

any difficulties getting a decent phone case or screen protector for this model?

@@markandreigamboa5774 the 5G variant could fit kind of. Would be best to get 5G. But I have some cases that could fit on it but there's minor issues.

How is it for tracking everywhere I go and everything I do?

I have an A50 which had nothing but problems with GPS return to Amazon and got another one and still had the same problem so my question is does the GPS work properly on this a series phone because it sounds like a steel but if the GPS sucks it's a deal breaker

Well, finally bit the bullet and the T-Mobile version of the A71 5G from Samsung directly for $375. I had nothing to trade in a or that I wanted to trade in or it would have been less. In California in a T-Mobile store it's going for $600. $647 with sales tax. But really, for all the stuff the A71 does NOT have; like better screen glass and water resistance, it shouldn't be anything more than $500 in a carrier store. Anyway, besides saving the money, if it doesn't work out, it'll give me a good feel for how it would be to have the LG V60. If I got that I would get the dual screen version, as its only $50 more than the single screen, but I would probably only use the single screen out of the dual screen case anyway and the A71 is only 7 mm shorter and 2 mm less wide. If I got the v60 I would have to get it from the carrier, so I could make payments, and if I didn't like the size of it returning it is a minor hassle, not to mention the $50 restocking fee they would keep. The stupid security attachments they have to the phones in the stores don't allow you to pick them up and really get a feel how they would feel in your hand. So dumb they don't have a provision so the customer can get a real feel of the phone.

I have an S9 that I'm very pleased with but at the beginning I had meant to get an S9 plus and I made the mistake of getting the S9 I have had a wonderful experience with it but as many know with everything going on at the moment it just not make any sense to spend $1,000 over for a phone right now is just too much from any people out there this looks like a good alternative many of the bells and whistles not everybody uses and don't need oh, you gave a great review but you mentioned nothing about the audio is it the same audio as the flagship does it have stereo speakers? How is the sound compared to the S Series flagships? Can you talk a little bit about the benefits of 4G versus 5G is it just in download speed? Thank you so much for your help. William

Check out the T-Mobile app. Right now the A71 5G is $600.00 BUT they will give you $600.00 for your S9! So it is free as long as you keep service for 24 months!

I was a person that was us to buying any new flagship phone but i got tired of buying phones with small upgradea so i stopped now im focuses on midrange phones
