Which model should I have buy k1 or k1

is it important if the phone is A52s 5G SM-A528B K1 or K2 or DS when doing this process? or is the charging board/port universal?

What is the grey wire for?

I replaced it because I had some issues with carging and with my microphone. It worked, but very quiet couldn't hear anything. When on speaker then it works fine enough. So I replaced charging port and charging is fine now but microphone still doesnt work. Thanks in advance

@DIYGeardo If that's the proper nomenclature then yes. The two cables press fitted on the circuit card. One white, one blue. Mine are reversed.

is there any difference between a52 4g and a52 5g charging flex? Please some one help me to find

My phone would only charge in fast mode with one particular charger and cable. Otherwise, I would see a message reporting slow charging. The predicted time was often 25-30 hours, but charging always completed much faster (5-10 hours). The other symptom is that all OTG storage devices were not recognized. I tried replacing the charger port as described, but after the replacement, the fingerprint reader stopped working and none of the other symptoms went away. So, I put the original part back. Fingerprint reader is now working again, but the other symptoms are back. Thinking of trying another part. Any idea why the fingerprint reader stopped working with the replacement part?

This version of the board comes in either K1 or K2. Check the code on your original board and replace it with the same version.

Mine for sure isn't water proof ... That's why it won't charge it says water detected in the port and starts vibrating. I ordered the actual charging port only, if it's soldered on will I need the charging board?

Does it still survive dipping in water? Still has ip 67 rating water resistant? Even I changed my galaxy a52 4g charging port in samsung service center I don't about water resistant still works or not can you please explain about water resistance ip 67 rating after charging post replacement

Well, service centre repairs keep your waterproofing levels (As per reports)..Third parts is highly unlikely..But please check with the service store.

It depends. But a faulty charging port will eventually stop working

I only ordered the actual port for $7 not the whole board is it possible to fix it with just the port. How is the port connected to the board

You need to solder. It is too much work and better buy the complete board.

Take off the back cover, and then take out the logic board. Afterwards you can take it out. But must tae out the back cover

No, not really. But if you take to an official service center, they might.

Please help i have switched the charging port. I have done everything correctly but now my phonr wont start or turn on. I did not disconnect the battery cable first because i watched another video and it didnt show that part. Is that what caused the problem? I took everything apart again and it still wont start

I don’t think it is because of the battery disconnecting issue. Maybe a faulty charging port , can you try with another one. Also double check all connectors. Is your battery is holding fine?

after replacing pcp board my phone isnt recive any signal sim is working fine and on old pcp i have no problem with that any idea why ?

@@michelearchitecturestudent1938 ok, my new board from amazon was defect. I put my old board in again and replaces the flex cable. Then it works fine for me. So the flex cable was the problem.

I think the charging works but the signal doesn't work..

Just like someone else in the comments, my signal doesn't function anymore with the replacement part, while replacing the old one fixes the issue. Very sad that we can't buy parts directly off of Samsung and instead have to rely on third parties.

As the video says, a hair dryer is fine.

Just replaced mine and I'm still getting 'check charging connection' notification on my phone. My laptop still can't read my phone. I took my phone to get looked at and they couldn't find a solution.

@@DIYGeardo yes. Usb debugging, usb options on for transfer files, *#0808# and I have MTP + ADB on. I took my phone to another repair shop and got a new charging cable and charger that now I have fast charging again, but no computer can see my phone. Not even at the repair shop could they see my phone on. The guy told me I might have bought a faulty USB charger board.

Folks he's taking of professionally but the back is easy to take of by hand

That's ridiculously hard, Samsung obviously did that on purpose knowing it's the part set to break eventually.

UPDATE!!!! THE PORT IS STILL ON THE WAY. I REMOVED THE BACK, BLOW DRIED THE BACK AND CHARGE PORT, USED A NICE FANCIER CORD FROM A SOLANA SAGA TO CONNECT IT C TO C... ITS CHARGING!!!!!!!!! it may not again but rn the pos is charging after laying around for over a year. Now water detected symbol. This is a Samsung defect.... Obviously.

Don't you know that if you don't unplug the battery you can short something and damage the phone.

This phone sucks!
