Hello, thank you for the clear and informative video. I have heard that there have been many problems with the fingerprint sensor in the past with a screen replacement. Is that still the case?

It depends on the screen you are using.under display sensor won’t work in aftermarket screens.

I've got one from Aliexpress in 2023 and although the used fingerprints didn't work after the screen replacement, I could create new ones on the new screen (with a lot of patience) without calibration or the fastboot mode...
Hi only my screen cracked, there was no damage on my lcd/ digitizer. Do i need to replace it all including the lcd? If I go to the samsung service center, will i get charged cheaper since the only thing that broke was the front glass. Thanks im from south east asia.

Well, it is a very hard to do a glass only repair. Only certain third parts stores doing this repair. If you go to Samsung they will place the whole unit completely(from lcd & touch)

It depends on your choice. You can select either part and do the repair. But most straightforward will be with the frame.

Screen price will depend on your preference (an original or aftermarket) and repair cost depend on the location too.
