I have this saved to my list. I just ordered it.

Good instructions. Clear for the most part. Should have started with the navigation buttons and setting button first as a suggestion. I did have to slow it to .75 and hit the 10 second play back several times. Pauses of just a few seconds for viewers to catch up would have been helpful.

Good suggestions Lori. While the information might be great, people tend to forget that some of us need to take notes and can not do so quickly. I get that on phone messages as well it's like rapid fire that is very difficult to catch or to take notes on thanks for the suggestion

excellent overview

It has a pretty good battery but the star spec of the phone is def the dimensity 720 processor. really fast for gaming as well as multitasking.

Does it have a proprietary native call recorder on the call dialer screen that can be switched on dialer call settings menu etc

I used to have a Droid and when a notification sounded it also put it's icon on the screen, like text message or facebook message, so all i had to do was look over to see what the notification sound was from. This phone doesn't seem to do that or I just can't figure out why. I called the guys at the store and they told me to go to you tube. Really helpful. NOT!! Is it possible to show icons on an off screen when a notification sounds?

Maybe I can help if you haven't found it yet. HOLD down on your home screen then swipe right to Google discover and a on and off button should appear at the top to turn it on or off. 👍🏻 hope this helps

Does having dry cracked skin affect finger recognition? I have dry skin so sometimes my fingers get dry skin wil, finger recognition still work?

Would like to know how to keep the clock on at all times

One downside is the screen shot where you have to press the volume down key with the open screen together.I prefer the swipe from left to right motion myself , so that was a bummer i wasn't aware of but i will deal with it.

I know what you mean. I personally like Motorola's three-finger screenshot the best myself, where you can just hold three fingers on the screen and it'll snap it. It's too bad this phone doesn't have it

Unfortunately you will need a new cord, the S5 has an older charging port that's not really used much anymore (Mini USB 3.0 I think?) and the A32 has USB-C. On the bright side, USB-C is newer a lot better so you'll most likely have a better experience with charging, connecting to computers, etc.!

I like that it is an affordable edition from Samsung. Is the Dimensity processor suitable for gaming?

I would say so, it won’t run things as smoothly as a flagship phone but it will do the trick.

Purchased my A32 around 6 weeks ago. I’m gradually getting around it and finding new things out as I go along. However, for some reason, I cannot use video or sound on both WhatsApp and Duo. I don’t think I caused this to happen. So. On WhatsApp, I clicked on top right 3 dots and via Settings/permissions, switched both vid and sound on. But it’s still not working. I then clicked on the general Settings wheel and auctioned the audio/visual but still no joy. Any clues.?

You have to click allow wahtsup to use video and sound of Samsung. Thats a mistake you make when you choose not allow.

how to set always on time, date on the screen

When I'm on my bluetooth on my cell, I get knocked off connectivity when my husband connects his bluetooth to his cell. TWO different phones. TWO different bluetooth devices. Why can't we both use our bluetooths at the same time on our different phones is aggravating. Tmobile chat just keeps passing me to other agents who ask the same questions over and over and pass me on to someone else.

Be careful with the fingerprint recognition to turn on phone. I was holding & walking around with my phone yesterday, and I didn't realize I was touching the power button. The screen suddenly said I made five incorrect attempts to unlock the phone, and stated that I had to enter my password to unlock the phone. I freaked and forgot my password It actually locked me out of my phone for a short time. 🙃

Hello, question, with the face recognition, you someone uses your phone, and that person uses your recognition and they look like you, you there are people that may look like you and use their instead of yours or supposing that person has a twin, can that still can use your face recognition?

It's not impossible per say, but it's very, VERY unlikely and I've never personally heard of that ever happening.

I can't stand notifications, especially from Fakebook. To control Notifications, just deselect all, then add back just the ones you want, like phone messages, and/or just certain important contacts for example.

Does anyone know how to take a screen shot w it that's the only thing I haven't figured out ?

Press the power key and the volume down key at the same time. Remember - Just press, don't hold! It's a common mistake since a lot of phones require you to hold the buttons for a sec to take a screenshot but for this one just lightly tap those two buttons at the same time and you'll be fine. I'll be making a tutorial on how to change some screenshot settings and use the screen recorder as well in the next few days.

Do you know how to transfer a phone number from an old phone? I got to the part that says Wait for the old phone to stop working then make a call with the new phone, but it's been over a day and it hasn't done anything.

Sounds like it could be the blue light filter. You can turn that off by going to settings/display, and then it should be the third option down from the top, right below the brightness options.

Samsung recently announced the A-series phones will get 3 years of updates and support, so this phone should have a good couple years left. I’m not completely sure when it’s getting Android 12 but it should definitely be coming soon.

I think Nova Launcher works with the phone. I got the a12 and confirm that it works - even in the International variant.

Personalizing Customize a song for ring tone

This is almost great - but it moves SO DAMN FAST!!! Watch once, then watch again with phone in hand!!

Do you have a video on how to inserted a SIM card on the Samsung a32!? I am not a techie but I've done this before on other phones. I didn't even know there wasn't one in my phone! I was having issues with my phone, ads popping up for no reason, running slow, other annoying things... I called T-Mobile and was told I have no SIM card! They sold me one, got it, tried to put it in, now my phone won't work at all! No WiFi, no service, nada! I'm on my Kindle Fire. At first I had no WiFi and had to reset my router. Took several times! I don't want to have to go to the store. I was in a car accident, fractured my C-5&6. Don't drive. My husband passed away. He'd be able to figure this BS out! I'm so frustrated and sick of this crap! I ordered a burner phone so I can call them, but can't even set that up! Keeps saying no network to connect the phone. Please someone help me! 😥

Thanks for the great information! Now if you could only tell us poor owners how to change/add a ringtone for a contact. Changing the default for the phone is easy, but editing a contact doesn't give you the option to add a ringtone, but does let you change the vibration setting. Gee, that's helpful. : (

@@kalipeztech Thanks for the response. After speaking to someone at Samsung for 45 minutes we finally got it figured out. There wasn't a 'Ringtone' setting, but right above the vibration settings was something with a musical note symbol and some wording about permission (I don't remember the exact wording). Once I'd clicked on that and granted permission, that section changed to Ringtone. And viola! it was fixed.

My Samsung a32 5g is a Boost Mobile phone and the lock screen clock-day-date CLOCK STYLE will not work nor will the colors. It has been my past experience that the Boost Mobile logo wallpaper is FIXED and NOT CHANGEABLE. Do you know if this is the issue?

@@kalipeztech Your directions did work after all. Boost Mobile will not allow their lock screen logo/wallpaper to be changed but the clock-day-date layout can be. The unlocked screen will take any wallpaper. Thanks for your tutorial video!

I would say the A32 5G provides a bit more value, it has a lot of features like its processing power and 5G capability that are typically above its price range.

It’s most likely a connection issue rather than the device itself. I think Netflix requires a stronger connection than KZread does. Are you using it on WiFi or mobile data? Streaming services usually work the best on WiFi so I would try that if you haven’t already. Also I’m not sure about Netflix specifically but I use Peacock and HBO Max and they have the option to download whatever you’re watching, I always do that before flights and stuff, if Netflix has that option maybe downloading your content first and watching it offline might work?

I've been wondering the same thing. Samsung has a bunch of different variants of this phone, apparently there's also an A32 5G that has a 90hz display despite STILL only being 720p... My guess is that Samsung downgraded the 5G version of the A32 to 720p in order to cut costs and give us an affordable 5G phone

My A32 galaxy 5g does not have clock style.

I got a chubbie when I heard "enhanced keyboard". So tired of fixing my text messages 5 times before I can send. It went away when I heard you have to enable "Easy Mode" to use it and that makes your home screen icons huge and that screams "Grandpa!". Why can't they design stuff right? Maybe I want the big keyboard because I have big fingers! I don't want to look even older than I am.

Home Screen in settings can change the size of the icons depending on the grid layout. Not sure how it works when combined with easy mode.
