I dont think there is a big change. 8Gb ram is needed for multitasking, opening a lot of applications at the same time, and for game system requirements.

i think 6gb variant is the sweet spot for these budget and midrange Samsung if the storage is 6/128 and 8/128 between these models its better to save up some money by choosing 6/128 as 2gb extra ram doesn't really matter but 4gb is way too less in 2024 at least 6gb is recommended because the oneui 6 itself consumes more ram

8GB is much needed for the future since this phone supports 4 years of OS support. Trust me in the next 2 years 12GB is going to be the standard mobile memory. Android updates are going to take up your RAM a lot more. 6 may be enough for now, but not for long investment. Trade in prices also going to drop if you're using a lower memory size.

@@sspeedd8809maybe but these phones you keep few yrs then upgrade so. Mine was $277 AUD with 6gig so no fussed after 2yrs I get bored by then 😂. S24 is 8gig and $1300 Owch to bad if stuck after 5yrs then . I love Samsung giving us amoled for this price , like to se thinner styles though come back .. weight 170 . 200g ok but preferred weight lower builds like S21

I have the a15 on 6.1 ui and android 14 , still sitting at 4gb ram. I also tried setedit and can change it to be up 8gb ram , but wont stay . Android has a setting on persist at 4gb of ram that wont allow grant access to edit this section. This is sad for this phone Will they even update it to 6gb? Do you know of any software editor that can chnge the persistent ram boost in Android properties ?

Not really.. In A05s the OneUI 6.1 Update has made the phone worse. But that's not the case in A15. It's practically the same in A15
