The problem with these budget phones is that you have to live with it for a couple of years. And it’s painful. Saying a little bit is not really justified if one replaces the device every couple of years.

Its a good phone i must say never found any problems with it at all!

Upgraded from a S9 plus to the A14 5G and love the A14. The only thing I do miss on the A14 is the secure folder

I been using this phone for a couple of days now and I'm going to say it's not bad the screen gets bright the battery life is good the only problem I'm having is my Samsung buds keep disconnecting every five minutes

I didn't see this review before I upgraded yesterday, now I'm feeling MUCH BETTER about my $100 purchase! Subbed!

I know this video is three months old I finally upgraded to this phone today I'm very happy with it.

I can’t wait to get mine tomorrow why buy a 1500-1800 dollar phone when this phone does the same thing

I bought this phone yesterday its great doesn't perform like a cheap phone much better. You can't beat Samsung display my Moto had 720 this is 1080 its great.

I went for the A13 to the A14, and the display is well worth the upgrade! Really like the design also....

Great review man!!! Always. I also see Samsung has already put stock Google messages app on the phone which is solid choice. I use it on my pixels , 7t and the s22. I hear that's their plan to slowly work more with Google to merge into their apps more. That's lighter on the storage and better optimized with more features ...Great work bro!!!

Just received it, Matro by T-Mobile modal, but can't find "lift to wake" option from setting--> Advanced features --> Motions and gestures, it's on my old 10e, A32 5G.... Wonder if it's just mine unit...

Is the camera and the video on this better than the Samsung A13LTE?

12:20 is that the bloatware that you talking about? Cause I care nothing for features all that much. They get in the way and take up more space then it should and they take up more space every update they put out, for exsample, one feature takes 20 GM, update comes and it is increased to 30 GM. I have reset my phones and still the bloatware takes up all the space and at some point updates will not work cause there is not enough room for the "Features" that can't be removed (without jail breaking it) totally makes the phone unusable..

Sir its good option to buy it the a13 doesn't support efootball23 and has the same processor of a14 will a14 support or not efootball23 But my mind saying to me buy the iphone xs max but it is expensive than a14 5g

Got it for 70 bucks out the door today, with my months service at metro. Great deal smooth phone if you're a Samsung person and need a phone in a pinch.

I got a problem on camera at night, Camera flash doesnt work properly, I go to service center and take it with a video that the camera cant take a photo In no lights and they say its not an issue and can do nothing about it, even though they see that it cant take shot in nolights (Needs to restart the phone before you can take a shot when night, and for me its super hustle)

This phone is good. One thing tho, the speaker on my phone out of nowhere, fades the sound whenever I play something loud out of it. Have you experienced this?

As of January 25th, 2023 I haven't had any problems with speaker fading. If it is a problem that occurs I will make sure to make a video stating any issue like this. I'm sorry thats happening bud 😢. Thanks for watching friend!

After some research,including your videos.I am purchasing this phone to replace my a51. It will be my first 5g phone. My a51 has recently slowed down after the Android 13/1UI 5.0 update. This phone has a bit better Geekbench 5 score. I am interested in the 90hrtz refresh rate. This phone is very affordable for me. My a51 is still a great phone,I just want a newer one with 5g. The screen quality between the phones should be very similar.

It's the 1st budget $200 5G Device for 2023 with Android OS 13 available to purchase 😀 .... I'm waiting to see which of these 2023 Motorola Devices is made available in North America that comes with Android OS 13 : G53 5G G73 5G and who knows what name either will be given Stateside 😉

Haha true true, names are usually different while having the same internals correlating to different countries. It seems we are using a lot more mediatek processors these days in the states due to the chip shortages so I'm definitely interested to see what Motorola will do for this year's stylus and budget-midrange devices. I read somewhere that 64g ram is only for the US......what happened to the 128? Can you confirm this? Should I wait? I'm already planning on waiting for that sexy dark red.

First off thanks for watching friend! If you have the Note 20 Ultra I would keep that and wait it out till they stop sending out updates, it's a great phone! Yah, sadly at this point in time we only have the 64 gb option with 4 gb of ram. There are higher storage and ram options available but only in Europe and Asia it seems for now and the bands in that model wouldn't work currectly with the US cell towers we use. Since these phones are a lot less popular in the states many articles written on them and spec sites show the overseas varients. Thanks again for watching!

@@TechRight I like the Note 20 Ultra, but I think the camera is getting worse. The only reason I got this phone was because it was one the last "big boy" phones that allowed for an external sd card.......one of the draws toward the A14 5G is the option for an external sd card plus the price of course. Maybe I'll hold on to it until more options are available for us. Thanks for responding, and keep the vids coming......I'm a new subscriber.

I went from a flip phone to the A14. First "smart" phone I've had. Bought it through my carrier, consumer Cellular and will be paying for it for two years. Piece of junk! I'm on budget so couldn't afford a higher priced phone. Thought this would be a good option from what I had read about it. If you don't keep it active you have to sigh in. Just today I received a call from a friend. I was about to connect when the phone butted in and I had to sign in. By then the call was lost. It is a pain to keep signing in every thirty minutes so I can get calls without being interrupted. Don't know if there is a way to fix this or not. Why can't I just stay signed in and not bother with having to keep an eye on it all the time. I tried using it without a password but felt it saver with one especially when I was away from home. Guess that is the only way to save me a lot of aggravation.

Get F23 5G in deal for less than this. Snapdragon 778g 5g, 128 gb, headphone jack and expandable storage

My old phone was a good 6 years old and I'm pretty happy with the A14 5G. My only complaint with it so far after a good week, is the size, phone is just too darn big, this isn't built for a pocket, you need a bag or a servant to lug this thing around. Oh I guess this also counts as a complaint, the speaker on this phone is sort of weak or maybe it's just the placement.

@chote29gt so what I had to say about the size and the speaker still stands. This two things are really my biggest and only complaints. I really only use the phone for some music, KZread, online shopping, and a few minor apps for fitness. The battery lasts me a day no problem. My old phone took horrible pictures, so this phone is a huge improvement in the photo department.

@chote29gt if it's a pullover hoodie, then yes, but a zip up hoodie which I have, then not really. Heck my old phone is small and slim, and it would fall out of the pocket if I wasn't careful, so it might just be my hoodie. So size wise the phone isn't that much smaller then a Nintendo switch lite if that helps.

Got it for $40 online (Metro). Will be here via UPS tomorrow

The A34 should have 4 years of OS updates, so depending on when it comes out and the difference in price, in could be a better option than the A14. That said, what matters most is security updates, and only Samsung's flagship phones get 5 years. The A14 getting 4 years of security updates arguably makes it the best phone for the price, from any brand.

Considering moving to this from an iphone xr...

I don't like it at all. 3 cameras. I want a 50MP + 8MP (Ultrawide) digital camera. This is enough for me to use. The Marco+Depth camera is hardly used.

The big pro of this phone is the 4 years of security updates. I don't need a powerful phone, but I need one that's secure enough and can last me a few years. The absence of secure folders is a bummer, though. Samsung is artificially hamstringing the phone by removing functions from its own UI.

Well even though I agree with you, phones like these do have advantages like the updates most people seem to want. The foreign phones don't usually offer that for nearly as long. Plus carriers tend to give them away for free if you port-in a line.
