Here's a trick for Samsung users If u wanna show that thing where u see the flashlight and rotate phone, glide two fingers from the top to the bottom of your screen, you won't have to pull down twice

Well, performance is the same as android 10, no need to throw it out the window. Try to reset the phone to factory settings

On the A12. What is the phone doing when you tap on the bottom of the menu screen and swipe down??? The screen become much smaller and you can only navigate on the small screen. What mode is this and what is its purpose. None of my other androids do this old or newer ones.

Check and update the software. Mine was previously Android 10, when I updated the Software it upgraded into Android 11. Always update it to the latest and don't worry if it says like the update size is 1GB if you have a low storage capacity phone befause it will overwrite the old system OS.

When u click the recent apps button, click the app icon and a menu appears.. click open in split screen and it will show the other apps u previously opened. Chose your app. Not all apps are compatible like Instagram as an example. To close split screen drag down from the middle of where the apps split.. there is also a little grippy looking icon there also that u can drag. Hope this helps 👍🏽
