Just replaced the battery/screen on my moms A11 phone watching this step by step.. Thank you ♥️♥️♥️

For those who were able to buy frames with buttons, where did you purchase your frame & screen combo? We bought a set and the innards didnt fit because it wasnt up to standard sizing. Sent back and looking a new combo.

I did this and it worked. Had a lot of mistakes but ultimately have a working phone again. Had to install buttons in the new frame. One screw did not want to go back. Finally all screws went back and everything works again. I watched this so many times! Was very helpful. Thank your!

@@ivanskaggs6284 the buttons are not much more than a sticker. I ordered them off of Amazon and carefully applied it to the frame to match the original.

I got the frame without the buttons. But it was really easy to transfer, to the new frame ( just be gentle and apply a little heat to unstick) and it works. Thank you for the breakdown, it helped me a lot. Edit: I didn't have a heat gun. Used a blow dryer on low setting.

I followed your video again. This time accidentally disconnected one of the antenna wires from the tiney snap it is crimped to. But soldered it back after much cursing under my breath. The phone is fully functional again. Many thanks!

Awesome video, fallowed all the steps. One thing wasn’t covered, I had to remove the strip for the power and volume bottoms from the old case. The new one did not have it. But all worked out, wife is happy. Thank you so much for the video.

Thanks for the message. Normally Power button comes with the frame. But sometimes it may not. But anyways, glad you got fixed the device.

Could the issue be that i accidentally knocked out the other connectors when the battery qas attached? If so will a another new screen work? Already took it completely apart and tried putting it back. It booted up then turn off. Or did i ruin the battery? Just trying to get it on to get photos.

Is this the same as modle: SM-S115DL (GP) trying to figure iut if this is the A11 for getting the right screan to replace looks exatly like the one in video taredowen

The heat gun link only shows a soldering kit, is there another part needed to switch the soldering tip to a heat gun?

1:05 Does any type of heat gun work? 10:12 Does any type of super glue like gorilla glue work for it? I'm just curious because I wanna make sure I don't screw up the button at all.

... My phone started getting warm n heating up physically so I put it in the freezer of the fridge for 1 minute n then took it out of the freezer n then the screen lights went out on my phone but my phone is still on like it gets messages but the screen doesn't want to show any pixels it's just pitch black... will this video fix the pixels to turn on or does this video just help wt broken glass cracked screen repair type of vid????...... I'm using an iPad to write this comment bcuz my galaxy a11 doesn't wanna turn tha lights on tha screen... it makes noises like I got a message n I can higher tha ringtone n stuff but I cant see anything on my screen

what you can do is , open the phone and disconnect the battery plug and the lcd plug..Reconnect it and make sure connections are secured..turn on the device, if you still have the same issue, then you might need a new screen to test the issue.

Help. My phone had a broken screen asked a guy to have it fixed came back with mic not working, people can only hear me on loudspeaker. A day later it went black but works typing from it as we speak but it's dark with no light.

So looks like your ear speaker got damaged.. you need to replace that...And regarding the screen, seems it is faulty unit or something went wrong in the repair job ( i cannot say 100%, just can be due to the faulty ear piece too). Talk to the tech, this should be an easy fix..

I replaced two of these and the speaker wont work in both cases. The speaker is not broken, there is something wrong with moving the speaker to another assembly case. Next time I will replace only the screen without disassembling the unit.

Did it and it worked at first but i forgot the buttons. Now the screen just flashes on then off😢

This is changing the screen display, not the screen protector.

@@DIYGeardo Actually, some replacement screens from A11 may work as there are different models of this phone. I recently found out for myself as I couldnt find any m11 screens which lead me to try the a11. If anyone out there decides to try an a11 for an m11 or vice versa, make sure you are able to return the replacement screen before taking the risk.

So basically you take the whole phone apart ...no thanks

If you get part with the frame, then yes, but without the frame No, but most ideal repair part will be screen with frame. Also a11 is fairly easy device to repair
