Great explanation however for cleaning the machine u need to add descaling powder, noy just detergent. detegent to kapde k saty daltey hi hai

My front load samsung machine clearly says to not use detergent with cleaning mode. Because this mode is supposed to remove the residues, adding detergent would defeat the purpose.

According to Samsung, the "Eco" part of the whole "EcoTub clean" is it does NOT need to use any chemical product, like detergent, to clean the tub. So don't use detergent please.

Yes, It's true. Detergent don't works to clean the Eco tub but it suddenly stops in-between. So use the special detergent as suggested by yr. Technician for Eco tub cleaning.

For echo tub cleaning, it takes 90 minute and takes full quantity of water..I had Whirlpool earlier and also have Bosch front load and none of these machines have this function...Then why ?

Hey. How much does it fill for water level 1 in this washing machine? I usually have a very small load and water level 1 fills way more than half the tub.

normally it's 3 time water taking process for washing clothes ...but how many times does it takes water for eco tub clean ?

Sir, we have shortage water supply as its summer and water lasts only for 60mins..yestrday for the first time i tried ecotub clean and it stopped at 40mins do i start it again today will it start from 93 or will start from 40?

No washing powder. Just let the machine clean it its self. Its only meant for water to soak so it can break up any residue within all the small holes. When u put washing powder it defeats the whole point of 'eco tub cleaning.

Samsung technician told me, you can make the alert off by washing using "quick" mode, with the lowest level of water, and just like eco tube, dont put any detergent or clothes. Just use water.

In my samsung 9kg machine, detergent box lost , can we add liquid / detergent directly in machine and then start echo tub option ?

Mine too. It shows 4E whenever I do the eco tub clean. In the middle of cleaning, it will stop and shows 4E. I searched it and it says that 4E in samsung washing, means ERROR. So what should I do?

This is true as Eco Tub Clean is basically to remove scaling and deposits caused due to detergents so one should use either a descaler recommended by Samsung or Simply Vinegar and Luke warm Water.

Samsung official eco tub clean video specifically mentions not using detergent during this function, as it may damage the machine. So your video is giving erroneous information.

In our machine for every 30 days the red indicator will alarm us to clean but this time after 50 days there is no notification. My question is shall we clean it for every 30 days or is there any issues for not showing the red indicator of cleaning the drum.

My 7kg Samsung fully automatic toploading wobble technology, it's drum does not rotate while washing only pulsater do the job, otherwise in spin mode drum rotates normally

Remove the water inlet from back of your machine, you will find a metal mesh filter, clean it properly and fix the inlet pipe again. Do this process if you overhead tank has water but i doesn't come to the machine.

Hi... yes you have to keep the water tap on.. throughout and it would automatically stop once the desired level of water is reached. Actually there is no need to off the tap at all, even when not in use.

There are also 2 pipes at the back that needs cleaning. 'DONT FORGET TO UNPLUG MACHINE' before doing so.

most of the function are covered under 75 mins, so you can do it within 90 mins

It Takes 2 drums full upto Level 5. After the second water intake water is not required.
