Can't say 100%. It doesn't say on the pipe. But it looks like half inch or so.
How do I get the molded in inside the tube ?

If I never drink the water from fridge, can I unplug the water line? Or do the fridge always needs the water line to function? I recently heard fridge constant beeping even when the power is off(I unplugged it). The only thing I can think of where beeping came from is the water line. Thanks!

You can unplug the water line. Try Pulling the powerline out of the outlet. Leave for a minute or so, and then plug it back in. And see what happens.

They are good quality. You can easily get 12-15 years out of them. Unless you are moving a lot.

It wouldn't go in the tap. It needs to be connected to the water line. Get a plumber if you are not sure how to do that.
My old fridge is the opposite and the plastic part seems stuck
