I think it’s because the market segments they sell to… see Android and Samsung as “alternative goods” and not as desirable as Apple. It’s stupid, but Android as a whole (at least in the US) still is considered the “poor man’s smartphone OS”. Google Pixels are changing that public perception slowly, though, especially when they take demonstrably better photos than iPhones.

Samsung has been going downhill on design, specs and price for the past 2-3 years. Everything has been just iterative or adopt the worst aspects of Apple, yet charging same or more. The fact that now they are copying Apple on model lineups and design cues, it is like they are going back to their early 2010s dark age of being knock off Apple. It is sad. I think Nothing, Pixel (sometimes) and Moto are creating more exciting devices in Android.

I have a zfold 3 personally and even with a really good case, using it everyday, multiple times a day, absolutely ruined the inner screen. And the outer screen was even more fragile.If the materials for the z fold 6 are dang near identical, I can imagine the inner screen would be absolutely shredded in a year or so.

I have had the fold 3 since launch. Apart from replacing the inner screen protector (Yes, it did piss me off!) I've had no issues. It's absolutely perfect for me.

So glad I'm still rocking the Watch 5 Pro and the Samsung Buds 2 Pro. No point in upgrading to these. So disappointed that they changed their earphone design and the Ultra watch doesn't have a rotating bezel. WTF 😢

I just like flip phones, to be honest. The fact that it can also be used while closed is a huge plus too, phones are too big nowadays.

The level of completion has improved. Now I can buy Flip.

Samsung has been the Apple of Android for years. They’ve been doing this for a long time, at the very least since they copied removing the headphone jack. Never understood why anyone has bought a Samsung product in the past 5+ years

Really loved the previous design was comfortable

It's a shame Samsung moved away from the Buds Live jellybean shape; I have those earbuds and they are both supremely comfortable (I hate the earbuds that plug into the ear canal) and inconspicuous as they don't stick out of my ears. Having those stems poking out of the ears is a look I actively try to avoid, which is why I'm still using the Buds Live, not the Apple earpods, even though my main phone has been an iPhone for the last two years.

Makes me glad I bought a OnePlus Open. The Fold 6 still with an interior design to all other Foldables.

I am guessing they use xMEMS speaker as tweeter in the buds pro, they are not copying apple as you see just the outside. It's actually groundbreaking sound technology. People always judge from the outside without actually understand the components in it, including those so called tech KZreadr when they don't know tech at all.

No S pen in Fold - no buy.

I feel like Marquez didn't do the differences/improvements justice just because he's seen too many of the folds/flips and seems to have a bias for novelty. These improvements and refinements add up to something worthwhile, even compared to just the most recent model before it. It's likely not enough of a reason to upgrade but it's enough of a reason to know Samsung is doing real work and to choose one over the other.

I've been waiting for the galaxy fold to add the Spen inside the phone and have the same outer screen and cameras as the s24 ultra since the first fold released

I really wanted to like this phone I really did. However after 3 days of using it I'm returning it. This was supposed to be an upgrade to my surface duo 1 and the surface duo 1 is STILL the significantly better device (lack of cameras aside). I knew the inner screen was going to be smaller on the fold six but I didn't realize how much of a difference it made until I tried to use it daily. Oddly I find just one half of the screen on the surface Duo to be more usable than the entire inside screen of the fold 6. This is not to say that the fold six isn't a great device which it really is, it's just not as usable for productivity and general content consumption

The flip 6 does NOT use the same screen as last generation and the ultrawide camera is NOT using the same sensor.

It's been 2 years since I left your channel. Nice hair btw.

True but I’m also sure that team faces a lot of resistance from their bosses who are always looking at Apple’s earnings and skew the creative direction last minute, so the cool stuff never sees light of day. It’s very depressing for any designer regardless of paycheck. I’ve been there.

I was really hoping the Z fold6 would come with a pen like the ultra series. I guess I'll just wait for the Z fold 7 and hope that it doesn't explode.

i like that older galaxy buds accessories are compatible across their models. doesn't matter if you have the bean, pro, fe, gen 1 or gen 2, the cases are all the same.

Insane how blatant they were with the Apple Watch Ultra copy, it’s like they designed it to be mistaken for the watch ultra, even using the same name. Copying the AirPods design too shows they had no confidence in their previous designs and now just feel like copying Apple is smarter. Let’s see how this plays out lol.

This year, I believe, is just a year of experiments for Samsung. Then, based on the feedback, they will rethink in 2025. I hope so.

I pre-ordered the watch ultra and BudsPro. I'm skipping Fold 6 this year. Wish they upgrade the camera to Ultra Camera but they didnt. 😅

Samsung has always made such an effort to make fun of Apple at any point they can, then 2-3 years later they go "is anyone looking? No? Okay" and then they copy whatever they made fun of. However, this is some of the most shameless Apple copying they have ever done. Like WOW!

The Buds 3 look really cool! I feel like a lot of stuff has oversimplified design language these days, but the Buds 3 have all sorts of cool things going on! I like the window, the light strips, the colors, really nice!

Returning my zfold 6 and sticking with the s24 ultra. The battery life for me just is lacking. Yes I gave it a week to train a bit but still not good and also the slower charging bothers me. I got too used to the faster charging of the s24 ultra. I do like my Galaxy watch 7 though

As a former skuba diver i can give some info on the "100m" depth. You have watches witch say 50m witch translates to "you can swim with this no problem", 100m you can do basic scuba diving with this. But if you really want a scuba diving you need a 200m watch. If you want a depth sensor you get at least a 200m watch
