UNBELIEVABLE!!! You "Fixed" my Dryer! I was getting the EXACT same "Indications" on my control panel... followed your steps exactly and NOW I HAVE MY DRYER BACK WORKING AGAIN! THANK YOU! By way of explanation I noticed that my "Sound Notifications" somehow got turned off, and while NOT looking at my manual, I did remember that "Pressing" two buttons at the same time would restore it. Unfortunately, I pressed the WRONG Two Buttons which "Killed" my control panel, but your "Control Panel Reset" Worked Perfectly! Add to the fact that I am "Retired" and on a "Fixed Income", you can imagine my re-leaf in not having to replace my Control Panel... Again, My Thanks! Bj~Palestine, Texas

Hameed, thanks so much. Had half dismantled and was about to order a bunch of parts and found this. LOL. child lock. At least it was a good reason to clean out the vent and sweep all the nooks and crannies of the laundry room.

I'm sure this is exactly what's wrong with my dryer. I accidentally hit a button on it and these lights popped up. I will fix it tomorrow morning. Thanks a lot!!

I think you are the guy to ask this question, i have similar model it is Samsung model DV48J7770EW/ac dryer , do we use two 20 amp or two 30 amp fuse or breaker in the fuse panel.

Good question. It depends on voltage , if it’s 240V-220V-120V- or 110Volts Because I do not know your national electrical code , and which country you live in , it’s hard to answer your questions. In general it’s 30amps fuse or breaker but to be on the safe side , follow this link . www.galvinpower.org/what-size-breaker-for-a-dryer/

Check your breaker, maybe turn it completely off and then turn it back on and run the dryer see what happens.

Check voltage at the terminal block, if it’s a day one issue, usually it’s an issue with the outlet

Hi. I have a similar problem with a Samsung dryer DV9*M5**** model. The child lock appeared by itself and I'm struggling to take it out. I tried plenty of different ways. The combination of buttons, cutting the current for several hours to reset it etc. Nothing happenned. It keeps showing it is locked. I have touch buttons on the panel. Do you have sth to propose?

Hello, the Samsung Controller on our Dryer stopped working. I think someone tried to pull the contol dial out, instead of turning it. The dryer still works, but the controller can not select anything, except for the center position, which it is already on. Any thoughts on how to fix it? Do you know if the dial can be pulled straight out & put back in correctly? Appreciate any direction on fixing this. Thanks & kind regards.

I think inside of this unit at the back there is a noise filter, it looks like a microwave capacitor,or a steal tube that blows sometimes or it could be main board and you may need a tech to check it
