Thanks, my husband just replaced our heating element. So far, so good. No extra parts left!
Excellent video! Detailed explanations and easy to follow. Probably saved me $300 or more on the labor.

+Rico , suave Thanks.
Amazing!
If the water is not getting properly heated, what else could it be besides this heating element? Is there a relay on the control panel that should be checked first? Could the control panel have an issue? We're getting adequate water in the basin, but it is not getting properly hot. Having issues with the soap dispenser as a result of the water being cold... thanks.

Same! Was it the heating element?
Great video. This worked for me. But @6:45 needs to be incredibly tight! I replaced the heater and then my dishwasher leaked! Took it all apart again and tightened it, then just a little leak. I had to go back a third time and crank it tight to stop the leaking.
I have the same dishwasher but all of a sudden it stopped and gave me the LC code what does this code mean and what is the solution thanks.
My heavy light keeps blinking Do u know how to fix that and it won't drain water
why can’t you just unplug the d/w and then open the bottom to pull the heating element out for replacement?
How do I diagnose if the element is bad?

use a meter. the range should be 10-50 ohms. 1-100ohms is still fine. only when it becomes a LARGE number then would there be no continuity. An open circuit would be infinity ohms, meaning bad element.
What a terrible design. Haha
