Repair. Screen mirroring saved my broken screen. Drop from 2nd floor, flat af. There is no screen protection and a thin case. It is straight as white and broken screen. Screen mirroring helps you to activate "Repair mode" while trying to repair your phone in your local repair area. Repair mode prevents people from stealing your photos and data.

Dex works well if you don't want a laptop. if you own a laptop, then it's not that useful. unless you want to watch on your 4k tv

Processors matter. With dex, u can take advantage of snapdragon available in s23 or 24 series. But ur laptop may not open pages as fast esp less superior Intel processors. So depends on what kind of laptop u own.

@@kksga5476 that's partially correct, if you have anything better than a 9th gen i5 dex becomes obsolete but if you own a laptop from before 2019 dex saves you a bunch of money

You can use a type c to type C cord but you have to make sure that the cord is capable of video output.

I bought a c to hdmi as adapter, hooked my galaxy9 to it, then the adapter to the hdmi to tv. Tv screen goes into that desktop looking mode, but stays like that, what are you clicking on phone to suddenly make phone screen appear on your tv?

if you havent figured it out. swipe down to get to all the options(like wifi and such) when your in that section look for "dex" and turn it off

When in dex, bottom left sound icon, hit the 3 dots... then at the top there's the option of what it's playing on, click that and a list will appear with what device you want the sound to play on

U had a problem? It is not an issue, with HDMI connected if u turn off DEX it will mirror screen, u have to turn on Dex again

I use it to download apps or to play music on a timer before bed. You can even do game streaming or emulation with it and connect controllers to play 2 player games while multitasking with several pop up apps open at once.
