We've just bought one. How the hell do you get the bottom polystyrene block off with out it falling over?

Hi, I wondered whether you have had any issues with the water dispenser? I've heard that on some models the nozzle is too far forward from the button so it can miss the glass if it's not wide enough - did you find that?

Yes I will agree that the water nozzle is too far forward, but what we tend to do when dispensing water is put your hand around the back of the glass and push with your hand, not the glass . We don’t find this a problem but I will say, when you dispense ice, this can sometimes be a bit fierce, we’ve had ice cubes fly across the room on a few occasions, lol.

Hi Thinking of getting this fridge-freezer I was wondering how much room is needed between the fridge-freezer and the cupboard to the left ...? Is thre a minimum space needed (for ventilation and for opening the fridge-freezer door) or can it be pushed tight up to cabinets Thanks

Just bought one, the fridge/freezer has to be forward by ideally 110mm on sides for the doors to open properly.

Hi I’ve just bought the same appliance. Can I just ask how the temperature of the freezer work as I can’t set it between 3 degrees and -15. Jumps straight from 3 to -15

Just bought one this week. The freezer side ( -15 to -23 deg ) can also be used as a fridge ( 1 to 7 deg. ), but only at 3deg. When reducing the temperature in the freezer below -15, it will automatically select fridge mode but only 3deg.

How does the ice and water dispenser work on models without a tank in the fridge?

they are immediatly connected to a tab using a hose and take the water direcly so no need to refill the tank

Hi, Yes there was styrofoam underneath the fridge, we tilted the fridge to one side and cut the styrofoam on the other side, then tilted the other way and pulled out the remaining, it was a bit tricky but my son and me managed to do it fairly easily, Thanks Laura

Hi We’ve just taken delivery of a new Samsung RS50N3913SA and it’s very easy to open; my Mum’s 90 and had no problems.

Sorry, forgot to add that the RS50N3913SA has normal handles on it. It also has an ice maker and water chiller in it.

Do Samsung drivers offer to un box 4u I’m bit worried might be bit tricky 4me I’m getting bit old lol what series or model is it

I’m not sure if Samsung offer this, ours was delivered from AO and they do offer an unboxing service for an extra cost, I must admit lifting the appliance off the polystyrene bottom is quite tricky to do. The model is RS68N8230SL.

Thank u don’t think I will pay for unboxing mine is 8000 range too I wasn’t going get another Samsung but othe makes are too dear and not all with 5yea Warentee I got a 25percent discount so I bought sell my 7 year old it’s still fine but too small 100litres less

Further to my comments I have contacted Samsung direct shippers will be two man in boxed and connected to water easy enough for me We have had Samsung American for 20 plus years main problem we had was my dear wife keep insisting on -20 for freezing because she thinks bread should be rock hard And fridge turned down too low causing ice burgs etc so my moral is not too low
