Thanks for this video. It's the clearest and best explained of the type that I've seen. I dropped my A52s 5G out of a 1st floor window onto concrete! It was in a decent case so survived but two weeks later made a funny squeak and the display died. Luckily it was enabled for USB debugging and I was able to connect and use scrcpy to confirm that in fact everything works except the display. The device is not worth repairing if I have to pay someone else and hardly worth selling without a working display. Your excellent video and a link to a reputable vendor for a genuine spare part gives me the confidence to go ahead with doing the repair myself. Cheers!

Any tips for the Battery Adhesive? Should I purchase the original adhesive or use B-7000/T-7000 glue? I want to stick it back because when the phone was shaken hard the battery moves and it will disconnect the screen flex cable.

Is OIS (Optical image stabilization), part that can be fcked up during phone repair? Because i had my screen replaced, and its making the 2x louder rattling noise than before screen replacement. I know that the rattling noise is normal for phones with OIS but its way louder and more annoying than earlier. I can also add that the rattling noise is still occuring when shaking the phone in camera app (i just need to shake harder).

Does the fingerprint function work with this new screen?

Nice guide! Just dropped my phone on a bathroom floor, whoops. Looks like I will get one of those frames+screen and give it a try. Maybe I get a new back cover as well. Mine's dented and scuffed up, and at this point it's only 20 euro more. Is it a hard repair? I'm an EE designer, but I don't have experience fixing phones as I always run away when stuff is glued together like this.

Hello, I've got a question! I own this phone, it fell on the ground and now it doesn't turn on anymore. When I try, it vibrates weakly, but doesn't respond. Have you ever met this problem? Do you know what the issue is? The battery was full, the screen doesn't seem broken.

When my brightness is down or low, my screen sometimes has a green tinge to it. Would replacing the screen fix that ? Cheers 👍

I dropped my phone and it got a black spot but screen didn't crack and it slowly expanded to whole screen, the device starts and at splash screen shuts down to immediately start again over and over until battery runs out, do you think it's because of the screen or something else is broken?

My A52s ended up in the tractor snow plower : ) It now has a hole through its side and about 10 degrees bended inwards on the middle, but it still works just like yours! I would really like to extract my pictures and messages out of it. I've tested all possible software methods, so now the last possible solution is trying to hook up a screen to it. My question is: do I have to get the model specific screen for it, or would a screen from a different (cheaper) model work? Maybe the A52 one will work?

My A52 5G back cover is falling apart, perhaps the original adhesive loose its grip already, in some videos, some replece double sided adhesive and some used the the b7000 glue, i wonder which is a better solution and do i need to remove first the residue of the original adhesive for both the cover and on the phone before changing the adhesive or applying glue, thanks.

I would recommend using a genuine Samsung adhesive rework kit for this.

@@iDoctorUK its hard to get a genuine adhesive though in my country without getting it from the authorized service center. What i bought is 3rd party adhesive from an online store, its compatible, but i noticed it's kinda thicker than the original adhesive i removed from the phone. Even then thank you for the advice.

looking for some advice, i have replaced the screen with a Chinese replacement... however the signal is not great, 115dbm, also the gps is way out, have i damaged something; eg the antenna or coxial????

It's a part of the magnesium frame covered in something. This is supposed to be a sports phone so it can stand a small hit and not bend or break. It's heavy like a brick for it's size to be honest because of the robust frame. screen is the vulnerable part though.

The shop has installed a low quality aftermarket screen or "incell" screen, it's an LCD instead of OLED so looks much worse than the original and has borders and non working fingerprint as mentioned. The 120hz will also not work, it will be slightly laggy when using so you have to leave it on 60hz.

ive replaced my screen as i dropped it and the screen went black but phone was still on. ive replaced the screen but the screen is still black... is there anything else it could be? any help would be great

i did the same things as you showed, but somehow when i boot the phone it goes in boot loops and stops at the samsung logo, than restarts. same if i try to charge it, it tries to light up and show the charging animation but doesn't know what to do and retries forever. What can i do?

Hi my a52s went to repair, the back was coming off and there was burn in marks on the screen. I noticed now that it's back it looks like theres a slight bulk around the middle of the back just bellow the camera but opposite side. Is it normal?

It sounds like the mid frame bazel is not secured properly

I bougt my device in Greece and i went at a repair store in France for change the screen and they told me that they can΄t change the screnn because the screen model is different between the 2 countries. Is it possible ?

The size of the housing for the vibration motor is very small, maybe you would have to get another vibration motor and fit it to the back of the phone 😂

When you are starting the phone with new lcd display it only shows samsung galaxy rather than samsung galaxy a52s. A52s word is missing. Why is it so when you are replacing with original samsung display??

STOP caution, the bottom board is set. in the corner and is immoveable, and it doesn't just pop out with little or no effort, as shown. The out come a snapped and broken board. I was all going fine until the bottom board! I m guessing it is a manufacturing safe gaurd to inhibit home repairs!! Video needs rethinking!
