Begging for Billboards is someone we’ve heard many times. Beg for views, beg for this, beg for that. And that man has the right to do so. But the fans and other artists also have the right to say, this doesn’t feel organic. The marketing feels like each song is forced.. it has the same surface message. It’s just my preference to listen to music without the bells and whistles in my ear all day. The spread through word of mouth kind of music is my favorite. That’s Samson. He can out rap many, many men. Hope your family is doing good G!

Go to where he talks about freezing up when his feet are to the fire, the next part is about wishing he hadn't done so many political raps, it's all some people ask for now from him. That is the sub-genre that he doesn't want to be known for. Folks like Tom MacDonald, Mesus, ACAL, Topher, Hi-Rez, etc. This is why he says they maybe share some views but that's not the lane he wants to drive in.

Samson does his own thing. I don't expect political rap from him. I would like to see more of him though.

He's talking about Tom "I'll never beg for a Billboard" line and how his song are surface level garbage out out just to make money. And when he's taking about a rapper who said Samson is just biting their "political rap" style for money he's probably talking about Adam Calhoun. A few years back in the comment section of a Flawdzilla reaction to one of Samson's political raps, Adam said he's just jumping on the bandwagon for money and views. He pretty much wrote him off. But Samson is absolute FIRE as we see in this video. He can rap his asssss off and wayyyyy better than those other guys. Well Adam is a beast on the mic. Tom has given up j km regular rap and just does political jingles now. Which is cool and the topics are needed. But it's the same thing over and over.

Adam grew up battle rapping in Chicago and he has paid homage to pioneers of the rap genre. Tom well....He used to be a wrestler and the only rapper he begged and wanted acceptance from was Eminem and when he got crickets he was like im better than him anyways look at my number's. Hell we all know Nova ghost writes for him anyways because Tom's pen is nowhere near Adam's or Upchurch. But Tom is one hell of a salesman tho i will give him that lol.

Tom’s value was in pushing anti-woke into the mainstream. He said what a lot of people were thinking, but were afraid to say aloud because they’d get cancelled. Other than that, he’s not a great rapper or songwriter, imo.
