Hi Juan, unfortunately that is not true. While the sounds are similar, they did not sample "Get Down Saturday Night" for Voyager. Thanks for the comment!

@@Labergemusic I think they may not have directly replayed the sample, but it's almost the exact same chords, timbre, and timing. I'd almost guarantee it was designed to be similar.

If you make more videos I recommend on doing one for Bootsy Collins' 'I'd Rather Be With You' It's been sampled in so many different ways and in all kinds of genres.

Daft Punk sampled Get Down Saturday Night in their single called Voyager. It's very subtile, but the chords used are from Get Dpwn Saturday Night. Also the French rappers DJ Abdel and Rohff sampled it with Oliver Cheatham co-producing the song and appearing in the music video.

Hey man, I've spent years researching Daft Punk samples with a pretty large group of people and it was never sampled for Voyager. We've confirmed it with Thomas Bangalter as well. Now the Abdel and Rohff was one I missed for sure though! Thanks for the feedback :D

The correct Daft Punk song that sampled/interpolated get down Saturday. Night is Voyager They stole the chord progression and cgabed the semitones..
