You’re the only mpc creator that gets the authentic fire from what you hear. It’s always great when we make a chop and it’s just a banger. You always get excited. I do same. And you always have fire samples in your vids my dude. 👊🏻
Man, I took your course when I bought mpc one plus, and you really helped me learn it. Thanks! You should let your subs send in beats, and you preview them and give your feedback.

This truly means the world, thank you so much for your feedback. ❤️ I might set up something like this for all of the students that took the course and create a community for us where we can share tracks that I can play here on my channel. Hey, I don't quite understand what the flatten pad is doing here. Isn't it just some form of resampling? Can you elaborate why it is helpful here ?
Thanks for sharing with us it goes along way 💯
Thanks Malo❤
Great video. You made it really easy to follow your thought process on this. And the beat is 🔥

That Bobby blue bland record is amazing, this time I'm gone for good is my song.
Thanks for this video. it's a great use of sampling and choping ! I've watched lot of your videos and it's very helpful to see you work, by see again and again, it inspires and hemps to use the MPC. But the great is to see how happy you are to make a beat and share your work with us. "don't forget to have fun", yes, you're right. Thanks a lot. Take Care.

You don't it again bro great work.
Awesome video again man. Been wanting an MPC for like 20 years, now the ONE + seems perfect. Only now I'm spoiled and waiting for stems to be standalone before I drop the $1000
When i would sample from my SP 202 to my Live. Sometimes it’s low and man…you gave me a new way to get a louder sample cuz i be hitting that normalize lol
Really recognize the stuff you said at the end of the video. Had this just last night: record in my spotify list for sampling for a few weeks, was absolutely convinced it was going to become a superdope beat. Chopped it up, tried whatever I could but just couldn't turn it into anything good..😅
If you are away from your computer and need stem separation, I highly recommend getting koala sampler and buying the upgrade so you can get mobile stem separation. As always 🔥 my dude
🔥🔥🔥🔥
niceBeat
Yo Malo, do you have a video on how when working in standalone, you can access the stem separation from MPC Beats?
Bobby Blue Bland always delivers! That’s so sick!!! Was that snare one of yours?
I have a question and I know its an mpc course but could I still do the course even if I have koala sampler from what I heard the workflows aren't too different and im just tired of getting stuck on my beats im very much a beginner beat maker plz help. Great video btw 🔥
Love your channel man. Where you from?

Hello Malo & Mpc headz, is there a way to import different programs into a project purely via the Ableton Midi (pattern)? So far I've only ever been able to route it so that I could only map the banks in a single program... which unfortunately limits my workflow a bit.
Wow, I wanna learn that… I am in Germany and I can take part in your course?
Buenas Malo! No has pensado en hacer un curso en Español? O al menos algunos vídeos en KZread? Estaría genial ☺️ muchas gracias por enseñar tus técnicas. Saludos desde España

Hi Malo, thanks for making these videos. I'm having a problem with recording my beats . Everytime I record a drum pattern, my MPC ONE does not record the pattern as I played it. I've gone through the settings and I don't know what the problem is. Has this happened to you before ? I'm just starting out, and on a budget now. I'd appreciate any advice to get my sampler recording correctly. Thanks

Check your timing correction. Maybe if it's set to 1/8 change it to 1/16.
When in controller mode on Beats…why can’t it see installed hard drives on my MPC one…..any ideas?
I wonder if there are other MPC Live 2 (Retro) owners with pads that double or triple trigger when you hit them hard? My pad treshhold and sensitivity are both set to normal (8).

what would your approach be if the STEM function left too many artifacts?.
@classicthought266
Ай бұрын
One way I can suggest is separate the left and right channels in a stereo sample name each one with L and R and just see if one side is better to work with and also another way is add some attack to the chops but I would like to see how malo does it
Why woould you uplift gain instead of normalize? It kind of frustrates me there is no automatic normalization after recording.
@malobeats
Ай бұрын
Great question, the reason why is because sometimes normalizing when sampling from vinyl, it just does not work because of some of the peaks of the vinyl crackle so it will not register whatsoever so in this case when I’m sampling from vinyl, I will just manually give it some gain

Yo, great question, I’m not sure if the 5000 allows you to use the XMP files but you do get the way file and you would probably just have to chop it up on your own. I’ve never used the 5000 so not sure if they will receive my already chopped programs
