Those are my brothers in law, Sonny and Tama, what a nice surprise seeing them. I know first hand that those crabs taste amazing, excited to be going home soon ❤

Oso ma le koe fia alu I guu 😄
The guy climbing the coconut trees is built like an NFL linebacker naturally chilling and hanging out in Samoa the other big guy that went to locate crab in the mangroves is as big as an NFL offensive lineman those people in Samoa are truly impressive physical specimens and they were so kind as hosts
Mangroves and its mud are one of the toughest to navigate through, and Jocelyn is just brave and adventurous to be able to decide to do this long walk through the thick mangrove mud. Bravo💪🏽
Hilarious Taku when you tried climbing the coconut tree. Glad you exploring islands

No you didn’t
I thought I was the only Samoan who watched Taku, I was wrong😂. My favorite series so far! Malo Taku for the content!
I had a similar experience in Molokai, Hawaii. If you stay at the big corporate owned resort, you’ll be treated to a nonsense corporate experience. Polynesian people are among the finest human beings on planet earth. Stay with them. Live like they do. Your eyes will be opened and your soul will be humbled and fulfilled. God bless the islands and the people of the islands.
That Sumoan has been climbing trees his whole life, besides his arms are as big as your legs😂
Love the South Pacific touring. Do more islands please 🙏🏾
Villi! the man w a kitchen and great attitude. the man! "The meat feels thicker" brah

lol 😅😅😅
Glad you enjoyed your stay in Samoa...spread the word cos Samoa needs visitors...all the best to you both ❤
Gosh i just put a trap in the stream out back. They say a doctor brought some Samoan mud crabs to Oahu in 1920 and now they are in all of the streams in all of the Hawaiian islands as well as the bays where the streams meet the ocean. Tasty
Good try with the coconut tree they are easier to climb if something is chasing you I have found .
You needed more twists on the t shirt. 😆 🤣 good try. Enjoyed this episode. Kept us entertained for sure
Good thing about roaming around the Samoan Mangroves is there are no Crocodiles if it was in Australia i would keep an eye out 😂😂😂
Wow nice we have the giant crabs 🦀 in Tonga muddy mangroves area called tolitoli only appears at night low tide fishing 😊 Thanks
Taku . Straight into the video and no introduction and endless music that keeps repeating over and over again. I’m Proud of you my Cook Islander brother. Your videos are the reason why I only watch KZread videos. I don’t watch Movies anymore because they are predictable and WOKE. I know creating a new dish is very difficult and my advice to you is watch Vietnamese fish dishes. They are my number 1 . From a Aitutaki Cook Islander . Samoa people I’m proud of you for keeping your traditions alive
when he said its crunchy and i was like "how" then i heard the crunch sounds and i was like "oh wow it is crunchy"
You can easily see why Samoan People are amazing athletes… Climbing Poles with equipment is hard but climbing trees in an ‘ie with a T-shirt strap on your bare feet 🦶 is crazy hard… Cheers 🍻 to you for even trying 🍻
You know what is the best thing about these videos? You seem like a cool dude, and I'm just happy your living your best life. Thank you for sharing it with us, God speed my brother.
Taku trying to climb this tree made me chuckle a lot :D
catching mud crabs is a dream of mine
Thank you for experience the traditional Samoa for all of us 😊
Lovely work all. Sorry, trying to climb that coconut tree had me in fits of laughter. You did better than I could. 😊😊
Our city feet aren't callus enough for the jungle climb. Haha.
We love mangroves all my life ,missing my life style in my village Faleseela ..blessings
Now you've got me wanting to go to Samoa and I also want to visit the Pacific island and try the experiences there 😊
Taku you are king in our hearts come back soon. Hope you had fun in Paradise Samoa. Come back soon
"I love how this video flows, the editing is really top-tier!"
WOW! Awesome video!!
Drinking game- take a swig every time he says "SAH-moa" haha love it
Hello from Elvistown, Taku and Joycelan. Been watching silently for 2 yrs, love ya show. Big worms? Hmm, I used to say in the Army, "Everything goes good with a beer", but I don't know. Memphis, 10
Thanks Taku great videos enjoy uso 😎
Another great video Taku
Nice , bradda try Republic of Palau you'll enjoy fishing and diving and the beauty of rock island.
Taku like Villi so strong. Look at the guy 😂 he’s an absolute unit.
Beautiful people...
Taku going to have to practice on random trees everywhere! He makes it look so easy!
I know Sonny from when he was working in the orchards in New Zealand. Glad to see he is well!
Never had that kind of crab. Other kind reef crab and mostly ama ama from my Grandparents village in Vaitogi. Not bad though for first time. Last time I climbed was in Hawaii Laie side at the beach, 1989? Didn’t use the shirt though, scratched up my chest and a lot of ant bites. Awesome video, Thank You for sharing. Samoa will always be my Home and in my Heart…❤️🙏🏼🤙🏼
Always fun watching you taku great attempt at the tree need some upper body strength though. I so miss eating crab curry always ate it when I was young now it's so difficult to find.
Samoans are no joke. Awesome people.
JUMP TAKU! JUMP!
Bro climbing the tree built like Rey Lewis that’s why it was easy for him 😂😂😂
I'd love to see a South East Asia series and see what Taku will whip up with local ingredients such as Mud lobster and the crazy big river prawns they have out there.
You are the only one on Earth eating crab and fanning at the same time!
Another Samoa episode! Epic ! 💯
Thank you🎉
Perfect bait for breams and lots more!!!
that coconut tree guy is so damn cool
I love samoa 🫶 the people and the weather so 🥵
Balls deep mud!
LOL in our rural community, I saw somebody bragged climbing a coconut tree upside down (feet up). The Samoan technique is the same as in our rural areas.
Good job at the coconut tree. 🥥 ❤
He’s a big dude. Makes the tree look small.
Hey Taku, I’m not sure if you can grow coconut trees where you’re at but if you have a greenhouse you can totally make sprouted coconut
Lol😂 climbing coconut tree beautiful 🇼🇸
Awesome!
Dope video you gotta try catching a Rooster Fish sometime!
i love this inside look of different culture soo amazing how people adapt to living in different places over the world i wish i could help that family u were with that cooked u the crabs ! but u needed to extend ur legs out more taku u would of shimmied up that tree no problem !
Im from the texas gulf coast and can say that heat and humidity is humbling lol. I cant even imagine a pacific island.
I’m Samoan born n raised on the island. Whatever that worm was in the beginning? I’ve never seen in my life 😅
Hmm I love crabs, reminds me of back home
Your next trip you MUST attempt to climb the tree again… lol Great content as always ❤
I can tell uso was holding in his hyena laugh. 😂 😂😂 I know he went to go laugh about it with the uso’s lmao all laughs!🤣
We have that mud crab in the Philippines ❤
Never skip leg day, Taku

😂😂
i imagine eating that worm is like eating a soft plastic bass ned rig worm lmao. the guy has thick feet and hands, his body has adapted to climbing those trees which is why you cant do it as easily as he can
That sea worm, Here in Mindanao, Philippines we call it Sasing and we eat it raw as well. Like Kinilaw.
Cool vid I liked it
The good thing about our island is that there are no alligators poisonous snakes and other dangerous animals.
Oh dear Jocelyn, wait until the hot flashes start 20+ years from now. Keep that fan in a closet until you need it again, because I wish I had one like it now.
Looking like Mowgli from jungle book climbing that banana tree 😂 hell yeah bro what an experience 🤜🤛
I lived in Samoa for 21 years of my life never tasted that and never seen it before lol. Oh maybe my village didn't have any lol
Awesome videos bro...
Come to Guam and Rota.
I'd try a sea worm with your kelp chili crisp.😊
That resort is super lame for wasting so much of your time! However I love the more rustic catch and cooks you do and even though this didn't go as planned its still tha authentic experience i love about your channel. Yay Taku Tuesday!!

My guess resort wants people to spend money on their foods. Greedy bastards!
Wow awesome video
That hotel or motel you stayed at missed a great marketing opportunity. In Rarotonga we went fishing and the resort kitchen cooked our fish for us. Excellent vedio and thankyou for sharing. Still loved your Niue Vedios
Good try climbing the tree taku, it look so easy when he did it, but when we do it ourselves is hard. I love those hand fans that Jocelyn got , did you guys get a chance to learn how to make them?
You'll have to come back to Australia guys and catch some mud crabs and blue swimmer sand crabs to compare the difference between the two
so if you had the time, the question is what WOULD you have made?
@PSSKDerby

Or Will, what would you have cooked?
We need an outdoor chef life/field days coab!!!! Please!!!
Magaia kou aka✨
Watching you try climbing the coconut tree is hilarious
Excellent try Taku🎉. If you lived there you would master those things two 👍. JO JO IN VT 💞
11:26 OMG Joslin is really pretty. Taku you are one lucky dude... :)
Nice fan for the lady😊
Taku you should go back and climb that coconut tree again, i believe in you 😊
Jocelyn way stronger than me for that hike also that guy climbing that tree That’s true body strength
Wasn't expecting the roe to suck. Usually that's the secret good part in a crab.
Love your content, have been watching for a long time. But with that being said, you look like Mr. Peepers trying to climb the tree.😂😂😂
Come visit yap in the Micronesia, also a Pacific islander
You gotta take a trip to Guam
Taku gotta get redemption video next trip, on the coconut tree climb. Your hands bear hug grip the tree trunk and your feet uses the “aufaga” to hug the coconut for traction. I thought the cat was gonna show you up for a second, show you how it’s done vibes lmao..😂
