Lost 18yrs to alcoholism and drug addiction. From age 17 to 35. Despair, hopelessness, self pity, rejection, guilt were part of my life but in 2018 at 35yrs, God freed me from the bondage. 5years sober now living a normal, progressive life and also working as an Addiction Counselor using my scars to help other suffering alcoholics and addicts to get out of that pit. This song reminds me of the struggles I faced in 2021. I was having a rough year sleeping outside in the rains, I had no place to call my home. Nobody was there for me, my brother would chase me out almost everyday just because he had a girlfriend. My only option was to go home, but while in the rains, I would kneel down and pray on the rooftop where my brother was staying. I cried to my God until he heard and showed me a star in one of the nights... Late that year I got a job being a barista and since that day my God has been wonderful to me am now working in an office job and every day I count my blessings. I now have my brother living with in my own house despite what he did to me… I choose forgiveness for the sake of peace in my heart, and I know my God is taking me to greater heights. That rooftop was my Shiloh, I will never forget... Keep blessing us with your music, Sammy K. it's true God see's life in those rebuked ashes.

This song reminds me of 2019, I was bedridden for three months after 4 surgeries. My wife left me in hospital bed for the last two months in the hospital. 1 yr later, I regained all I had lost, built a 4 bedroom house, bought a nice car, and many more properties. am so much moved by this song, it have taken me some few years back when all seemed like it was over, i had no one left from my family, friends but in the midst of the struggles i still continued to seek Him day and night from going several prayer mountains and God never disappointed today i can testify that Jehovah Emmanuel has remembered me. and until today i usually go back to where God removed me from, where i got my turn around, tears falls down when i remember i was almost committing suicide, i will never forget my Siloam, my cry was turned to happiness. am always humbled being in the presence of the Lord and am always grateful for my Lord

Some family and friends turned their back against me after my marriage broke down. I was mocked and became a laughing stalk... but God is not like that He never left. I saved this song for a day like this. I lost my job in January, but I had committed to make this year a year of thanksgiving. This song i sing it with tears and thankful heart.lost my mum and my dad went away had no where to stay my mum's sisters took my other younger siblings and at the age of 11 all of them rejected me .but the rejection.spirit had started back from.my own mum but who is God , one in a million woman took me in and we really had one of a hell again rejection from her husband but she stood by me all thru .who is God now those who rejected me are so ashamed dont even have the courage to face me

My boy was born physically challenged, is the first boy after seven girls. Has gone through so many corrective surgeries and today, he is a testimony of what God can do. If you meet him for the first time you can never tell that he was disabled when he was born. Has grown to be strong, healthy handsome man. On Saturday we will be having a Thanks giving ceremony.
