Most of us spend our lives riding mountains and waves for one primary reason - because it makes us feel more alive. However, there are a lot of good side effects of our pursuits.
Among them: Thriving communities, a healthier lifestyle, respect for nature and so on. The more you get into something like surfing or skiing, the more it will teach you about life. And the things you learn out there can be applied everywhere else.
One example? It teaches you resilience.
You fall. You get back up. To the uninitiated, this can sound terribly cliche. However, skiing will engrain it in you. You get to know it intuitively.
And that's when it becomes a superpower.

When I first started skiing I always wore my gogglestrap over my helmet and no one ever noticed lol.

I've been skiing for a good 25 years now and didn't wear a helmet for most of that. The last few years I've got bucket on and always wear the strap over my helmet, didn't realize this was a thing, kids are so particular in their style :)

Very nice. Liked the POV pillow shots and the end the most. “Over Time” spoiled me. Hard to beat that one.

Having achieved so much already in the sport, Sammys' aggressive, super stylish approach to skiing making me feel like he's maybe turning into the next Candide... And theres not much higher of a compliment to give than that! Amazing skiing - that was so good to watch!!

Sammy has amazing style, and I just want to say, well done Loren Creer. This editing was unbelievably good.
I have long thought that all ski edits have become the same, but this one really sparked passion in the spiritual essence there is when you’re in the mountains with friends on a perfect day. I absolutely loved the ending of this.
Another year another Sammy c banger loved seeing those old xgames clips I grew up watching
The skiing filmed with sammy's POV halfway through the edit.. bouncing on those huge pillows is what I dream of. Love seeing how effortless he makes it look 💪👊💥❄️
