Sami Zayn gets it and I think he understands unlike crybaby Rollins how to navigate the political side of wrestling in conjunction with fans and their reception. Finally someone that is real with their responses when asked questions about the creative process in WWE. Objective answer to the question where he didnt refute experiences of other wrestlers but also articulated his own experience and how he navigates it when its both good and bad. This clip is also one of the many that just makes Seth Rollins look worse and worse every time he opens his mouth.

This is what mic work does for a person's career. It's funny how people still don't get it. There are no managers in the business anymore. So you have to do it for yourself. Lesnar, Lashley are lucky. Sami literally went from boring old Sami Zayn on NXT to being in a mini program with some YT celebrity. That's what improving on the mic does for you. Another example is Kofi. Kofi would have been fired by now had he not gotten in a stable with Big E and Xavier. They helped him come out of his shell and look at Kofi now. The reason it took him 11 years to get an opportunity is because his first 6, albeit great, lacked something. And that was his connection with the audiences.

While I find the timing to create soft power to further satirize and parody "Conspiracy theorists" with the curse of the bard, especially during the times in which we live... it kind of reminds me of when the CIA first peppered "Tin foil hat" through media soft power right after JFK's assassination to quell any independent & civil inquiry ...... I'm sure the professionals consider the works of Edward Barneys when they work for big corporations like the WWE, instead of always making excuses for the sake of careerism *Crosses fingers* ..... but with that said no one can deny the creative genius that is Sami Zayn. The guy is a brilliant talent and that is not hyperbolic fanboy praise. I think he's up there with Bobby Heenan and Roddy Piper/Jesse Ventura regarding his character work and promo skills. I honestly think if McMahon had loosened the reigns of control and allowed; CM Punk Moxley/Ambrose Renee Young Xavier Woods Paige Sami Zayn Daniel Bryan .... To have more influence with creative, social media, spin off content, marketing, and branding, WWE would never hear the complaints of; "Out dated" "Out of touch" or "Boomer TV". Bringing in Pritchard was not just a few steps backwards in WWE's progress, it was a full out sprint in the wrong direction. Zayn is Gold.
