Sami and Osman Abderehim are two of most creative lyricists in Eritrea to this day. I grew up listening to Sami Berhane's Music in the 80s in Suda, i think he released his first album at that time. This song was released in the 90s after independence..I was a highschooler in Asmara at that time... Beautiful memories..

Ethiopian American here. It reminds me of the 90’s. I was sad Ethiopia and Eritrea had to go to war. This piece was heard everywhere in Addis right before the war.

Eritrean music were much much better in old days. I do not know what is happening to Eritrea Music these days. I hope one day there will be transformation in current Eritrean Music, one day in the future and the glory days will come back again.
