I don't know why, but Alastor reminds me a lot of Dr. Facilier. Why? The action in "The Princess and the Frog" takes place in New Orleans in the 1920s and 1930s, and Alastor lived in those years (but died in the early 1930s) and was still alive in this city. When Alastor in the pilot during his song and in the first episode when they film the commercial, he has an outfit that is very similar to Dr. Facilier. Alastor and Dr. Faciliers have voodoo powers and can summon shadows and make deals. When the two make the deal, there is green smoke around them. And Husk may be a bit of Prince Naveen (if I'm speaking correctly), because Alastor has his soul and it's as if he signed a contract with him by winning a game of cards. Case? I don't think so.
