Hey Shannon. I'm putting a documentary together on Deer Hunting, and would love permission to be able to use a few seconds of your video where the Stag honks. Any way I can get in touch with you to discuss?

Its quite natural as there are tigers and leopards in wayanad forests. Even if its a wild dogs, the deer will give alarm call.

The "Honk" is a distress call to let the other deer in the area know that there is danger around. If they see you, smell you or hear you they will honk. Usually as they are running away lol. The video doesn't do it justice though. It's so loud it scares you to death!
