Uh, does this sound like someone who’s much older and more mature than a 10 year old? She may be 90 but she’s clearly mentally stuck around the time she went crazy. Honestly most of the time she sounds immature for 10. Maybe that’s because most people are bad at writing children realistically, but I’m willing to accept that an isolated childhood of being both babied and neglected by her father made her act younger than she is a lot of the time.

Even such a long time later, I really agree with this statement. Some things -- like the singing, the quotes with "JOY" attached, or their descriptions of the zombie "minions" -- are very, very similar to Richtofen. It makes me wonder if a little bit of their souls got tangled up in the switch, insane as they were... or if it was the corruption that made them particularly interested in blood, gore, spleens, and drinking sorrow. (Richtofen, interesting enough, seemed to be disgusted by disembowelment before he went crazy, during the time when he was Maxis' assistant) (It's also interesting to think about their similarities, in the light that they were both "children" of Maxis: Sam, being literally Maxis' daughter, and Edward making him more of a found-father, since he was an orphan as Primis)

I kinda feel bad for Samantha. I mean, she's separated from her dad. I mean, on one hand, I like Richtofen, he's tied for my #1 character with Dempsey (*murica*) so I kind have trouble hating him for separating her from Maxis, but on the other, when Richtofen betrayed Maxis, he could have just suggested to him to take a vacation with sophia and his daughter instead of doing all he did, and things would have turned out better. Personally, I like her in charge of the zombies more than Richtofen.
