This is so amazing! When she first walked in, I was like, "wait, is that woman tiny, the dog huge, or is she just really, really, really young?" Aaaannnnnd she's 7! I didn't even _dream_ of owning, let alone training a dog when I was seven! This is so cool to watch! Way to go, Samantha and Hesy Naspo!

Who is this girl? To be this young and to have total control of an animal of this size is absolutely unheard of. The biggest congratulations to Samantha on a job well done!!!!

Samantha was the most incredible little thing! She is amazing! She's got a great future ahead of her. I started at age 3, 67 years ago, but my father's focus was on field trials and I didn't get into Schutz until I was an adult. It probably took me years to reach Samantha's level of presence. Well done!

Such a lovely team to watch and Samantha is a great little handler, She has such confidence and her dog is so calm, they are an utter delight to watch. As and ex police dog handler I'm glad I didn't come up against these two in working trials. Well Done!!!!!!!!

This is a beautifully trained Shepherd and the little girl is a very confident leader. The dog was very in tune to her and watched for her commands fantastically. I can only imagine what these two can do by the time she is 10. Fantastic job!

Probably small dog owners or animal rights people. Personally, i feel a working dog is more humane than a fashion accessory.

All the ignorant "positive only" people. Yet Schutzhund dogs aren't trained with only positive reinforcement and they don't like that

It doesn't matter. That 7 year old girl remembered every single command in front of a crowd of people and never haltered. The dog would have sensed if she was afraid or ready to flee, and the the dog would have been off his game. He obviously was not, so she did a great job!

Why do people find it hard to believe that a 7-year old can train a dog? It says right in the credits that she had a coach, but most Sch people do. I'm so happy to see a child doing this. She has great control on her dog.

this is awesome! such a great bond and really shows that this training is not for "attack" dogs that are just vicious. This looks like a true bond. sense of respect. That is a dog I would want growing up with my kids. and If needed, to protect them

Yes, he fired a weapon. It's to see if the dog will get startled or break bearing when listening to the commands of the owner. It's a sort of temperament training given to security dogs or Shutzhunds

The term "domination" is way overused when it comes to humans and dogs. I train dogs, I have a rottweiler myself, and I have NEVER trained with "domination", "energy", "alpha" or nonsense like that. I train dogs with trust, rewards, positive methods. Despite never using a harsh voice in training, if I do raise my voice to stop my dog, he will turn in an instant and look at me. Always with that trust in his eyes, NEVER fear of being punished. THAT'S what I want from a dog.
