I remember the Sam the Record Man stores & love getting imported music at a store ! Great old days! 🙂🙂 Miss Sam the Record Man! 😞😞

Great tribute to Sam Sniderman. I must have walked into that store 100's of times over the years back in the day-.I remember Sam near the front door greeting customers sometimes. Yes, he front racked Canadian artists next to the big label artists like Hendrix and The Doors. He had Rush's albums on the most visible racks when they were released, and many ther Canadian artist recored and some in store performances. I was there the last few days they were open although not at the auction itself. Sam's got some great import vinyl.

"In Canada everyone knows Sam"? Only if Canada in it's entirety is only Toronto and its suburbs - easterners!
