This is honestly an insane amount of mental gymnastics to try and justify being angry as hell about a small piece of cloth.

I think he is complaining that scientists have changed their minds (as more information has become available). Therefore science is wrong. Its a failure of critical thinking education. I don't know how else to process how someone could be so proud of being so stupid.

I hate this... like legitimately hate this truth. This person honestly deserves nothing more than passing mention as someone who does exemplifies why science and intellectualism is necessary. There is no reason for credibility, understanding, credence, or whatever you wish to attribute to this discussion. I get why this happened. And on this platform that accepts everyone to discussion. But the fact that this person hasn't any cogent argument is the sole reason for why opinions like his do not require discourse and should be objectively dismissed.

I literally experienced this today. Someone I know started calling me brainwashed for stating that I don’t think it’s a problem that stores require customers wear masks. They had no response to my points and kept shifting goal posts. They eventually mentioned operation paperclip and I literally responded with “you’re a fucking flatearth dummy aren’t you?” And they admitted to it lol

He gets attacked for being an irresponsible jerk, and he doesn’t have a clue about the Constitution. No government entity is violating his rights. Costco is a private company, and they can make rules about what can be done on their property. The government and the law have nothing to do with this. They can say “no mask, no service”. They can make you leave if you don’t comply. Kevin has no right to violate their rules on their property..

I have yet to hear a reasonable valid argument based in facts for not wearing a mask.

A progressive inside or outside the party has to pick battles carefully - to not hurt the party or their self. And the doublethink in this guy is fascinating.
