I’m really impressed with how much Sam Ried understand’s Lestat so much. I’ve always viewed Lestat as a masochist in his sadistic ways. He self destructs time and time again. It’s part of his appeal and very relatable.

Well as he said, he read the books when he was a teen, so he understands Lestat so perfectly. I'm not sure Tom Cruise did read the books, so I think in the movie something was missing, we did not get to see the real Lestat in the movie... That's why Sam Reid is the perfect Lestat 😍😍😍😍😍

It’s like, in an alternate universe, Claudia is the one who’s well-behaved, yet Lestat and Louis are the ones who are always clowning around. Just imagine. In modern day, Claudia is in college FaceTiming with her friend and her fathers decide to go on there and goof off. Though, the most adorable thing about that would be that she doesn’t mind them coming on there and seemingly embarrass her because she’s used to them joking around with her and being happy. 😆😁

Bailey Bass was amazing. The way she was able to convey Claudia's mental age growing throughout the course of the shoe was unbelievable. I think she felt more than anybody a completely different character at the end of the show, than she was in the beginning.

Also, Jacob, Sam, and Bailey are so delightful in this interview. I couldn’t help but smile and laugh the whole time. The ending was so hilarious and adorable. It’s like an alternate universe where Louis, Lestat, and Claudia are a normal, happy, and goofy family who are always full of joy and fun. 😊

Aww Bailey saying she was so excited for Season 2 🥹🥹 Delainey was phenomenal I love her sm but I do miss Bailey and was looking forward to seeing her again 😭 we don’t even see her face in the Avatar movie because she doesn’t play a human character…

In all these interviews, I notice how humble Sam Reid is. He never takes over the conversation (like the interviewer, she loved the sound of her voice), often lets other actors go first and never interrupts others speaking. He is in it for the passion and love of his craft and not for fame and his ego. Apart from being intelligent articulate and well read. Congratulations Sam.

@@darlene5216 I don’t think he is shy at all: I think he is just polite and respectful. Something you don’t see very much of in the acting world. As the son of an Australian cattle station owner, he went to an elite boarding school so it might be a product of his upbringing.

Poor Bailey but they do try so hard to bring her in, they just can't help what is. I see that string Lestat told Louie they were joined by. Yummy 😋

Thank you drewsarichfangirl for posting these interviews. It helps with having to wait for Season 2. It is always a pleasure to see Sam and Jacob. They have really bonded and it its very apparent. Bailey is a breathe of fresh air and you can tell that she adores the Sam and Jacob. Love at the end when Jacob and Sam seem like parents checking in on their daughter. These show needs to get Emmy nominations and so does our leading actors. They have done and amazing job.

These three, along with Eric, have been beyond phenomenal. The changes to the source material have been respectful, while keeping me on my toes, and it's so much fun to watch. I'm so impressed with Sam's knowledge and love for the books and that makes me love him even more. And Jacob Anderson has blown me away as Louis. Greyworm in GoT was a pretty stiff character, but I could still see the potential there, because he has those empathetic eyes. But Louis can get itttt. He's delicious and so much better than Brad Pitt. I love the movie and the show in different ways. I think the actors and AMC have done a fantastic job with this adaptation

🙄; I'm wondering if i got caught up in one of Lestat's spells!., Because I've never been into vampires, but I'm thinking they could both get it, together, whenever!... (Did i just write that for everyone to see?... ugh. See what i mean!)

Sigh. Why are these interviews so short? The acting is this show is insane. I was so in awe of the acting that sometimes I would forget it's a vampire show.

I'm kind of imagining that they are all on a weekly family call. Sam and Jacob are checking in on their two daughters. Bailey is off at college majoring double majoring in art history and literature. The interviewer (IDK her name) is the older daughter off living on her own. She just got a promotion at work that shes been working so hard for so she's excitedly telling them the news. Sam and Jacob are happy parents... too much??? 😶😶😶

Jacob comes across as a person who is entirely in touch with his sexuality. Jacob seems like someone who could be in love with anybody, and that parental overprotectiveness comes across in every interview. He is fully protecting Sam. In every interview, you see him. I want to be Jacobs's best friend. With Sam, you want to sleep with him. It's slightly different.

Yall I loved this romantic take on this because in the first movie about you knew that they were in love but it wasn't connecting because of when it was made but now to see that they were in love omg I love this I hope it never ends

I’ve seen this several times and I always lose it at 1:01 to 1:20. It’s almost as if Jacob is moving the camera around like that just to be funny on purpose. Especially with the seemingly mischievous look on his face. LOL! 😆🤣😁

It's interesting to know details about the behind the scenes and personal thoughts of the actors and thanks for that D but although I try hard, I swear, I can't stop seeing the victim and the two executioners. The final scenes are still very fresh. Maybe it's part of the spell from which I cannot and I don't want to escape. Btw: Sam's laugh is so contagious. They both seem to be very warm people. I understand, is hard to let go of those moments. It does feel like a spell not only those scenes and Loustat but the entire show. It has some kind of magic that doesn't let us go, and yes even if we could go, we don't want to. It's! such a charming man. They do. *Hugs and Kisses dear Lili* ❤️

awards! awards! awards! this is a fantastic! series, sam and jacob you two are better than tom cruse and brad pitt"s characters, both of you realy are great together. i like the supernatural immortal universe at the begining the black gates slowly moving, and also i love the part both of you playing cards and sam stops time and looks at you jacob and you look around the table there eyes are white in a scary trance and sam reachs over hands you a card stopping time. wow! i love it that was truly a great episode the first one. bailey bass in her room trying to hid the dead body cop comes in and she yells oh" im dressing drops the blanket. and that was funny then bailey jumps off the balcony at the man and women walking that was funny. and ive saved the best for last, baily bass trying to hide in the back of the train, sam saying TICKETS PLEASE! TICKETS PLEASE! in walks sam with the train conductors head opening his mouth TICKETS PLEASE! FROM NEW YORK TO BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA, TICKETS PLEASE! I COULD NOT STOP LAUGHING THAT WAS AWESOME!! i realy love jacob and sams attraction to each other it realy makes this series great! both of you have great levity together thanks! for making this award winning series and i cant wait for the next part two to come on thanks! again! owens.
