Sam Rayburn lake report for the week of 5-12-20, water is around 80 degrees, lots of cool nights and wind, water just over a foot high and dropping. Fish are largely in post spawn patterns, lots of fry guarders, shad spawn continues to try to fire and from what I saw this weekend the water is still too cool from the cool nights for the bream to spawn, so not a lot of big fish shallow right now. Most of my fish this weekend caught on shakey head and dragging, with a few fish flipping and one on a frog, frog bite just hasn't quite happened yet.
