That's not the point.Racism is literally everywhere.Tamil nadu has a prejudice for North Indians.In Punjab,people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are referred as bhaiyas in a derogatory way.Even in the North east,a person from Maharashtra Or Gujarat will have a hard time settling as a permanent residence and not be subjected to prejudice and hate and there are actually racial slurs used in North East for other Indians too. The point here is that someone who holds a responsible position in Congress party uttering statements with racist connotations speaks volumes about the collective intent of the party.
