They cannot hide the look of love in their eyes some years ago. It was so obvious. But things changed. I'm glad their friendship was able to survive. But one thing is sure - they do have a special bond, even now. How could they not? They know each other's bodies as well as lovers or a married couple. They spend most of their time together when they are filming. (Their famous playfulness may be a safe vehicle for their affection.) They are the only two in the world who have had their unique experience with Outlander. Their love defies categorization. But it is there. We see it expressed every time they have a scene. I wonder what will happen when the series ends...

I'd love to hear that S & C are a real couple involved in a real relationship. But it's wrong for us fans to ignore their messages that state they are just close friends. Anyone else mad at Cait for marrying Tony? I know it is silly, but I am just a little annoyed. I am waiting for a picture of her and Tony looking into each other's eyes. I don't think this marriage is real. It looks more like a façade. In my opinion, Sam and Catriona don't reveal their real relationship status on the grounds that their career may be affected if they show they're actually together. I hope these two will have a happy love life regardless of whom they choose as a partner, but for me it's very clear that they're more than just close friends and co-stars. I do hope they will be wise and quit playing games with each other's hearts, if that's the case. Like someone else here stated, they're too old for playing games, life is short and finding someone with whom we can share the kind of bond they do is a blessing and a gift. May they value it, may they live it!
