Bless him you can tell he works hard and it's good in all but he needs to give himself a break because he looks like he hasn't slept for a week in this interview. He has to be careful he doesn't push himself beyond his limitations.

How old is he? I've read he's born in 1994 but also in 1996 and now he said he was 11 years old in 2006. I'm really confused about his age, haha. Nevertheless, I'm a big fan of him. I LOVE his music.

According to wikipedia, he's 25. In 2006, he was 11 for the first few months until he turned 12.

I feel like he feels a lot of guilt for his success. Yes he has white privilege, yes he got lucky, but also yes he has a shit load of talent and a mighty fucking worth ethic. Credit where it is due y'know? Be proud of your achievments, you absolutley deserve it! On the other hand it is refreshing to see a successful artist not have a hugely inflated ego...swings and roundabouts!

If that’s why then it’s really sad because white privilege is not really a thing specifically in the music business these days. The industry is activity looking for minority artists, not white guys from North Shields playing retro inspired rock/pop. He deserves all he has.

what is "white privilege"!? I know white people who weren't ever and still are not "privileged" I don't get this term, its a load of shite - there's no colour to poverty or lack of opportunity, it's your social or financial circumstances, it can be your parents, it can be anything, being privileged isnt down to bloody skin colour ffs - ridiculous, rant over. p.s this is not aimed at you Bajannez.

@@Lilmonkmonk 'Privilege is a hard concept for people to understand, because normally when we talk of privilege we imagine immediate unearned riches and tangible benefits for anyone who has it. But white privilege and indeed all privilege is actually more about the absence of inconvenience, the absence of an impediment or challenge, and as such when you have it, you really don't notice it, but when it's absent, it affects everything you do. There are lots of types of privilege out there, the privilege of being born into a wealthy family versus a poor family is kind of obvious, but then there's the privilege of being able-bodied versus having or acquiring a disability that most of us take for granted. I have two very close friends who are wheelchair users and I'll be honest, when I first met them I was completely ignorant about the everyday ways their lives are made harder through no fault of their own. Some of these ways are simply thoughtless, but some of them are just the way we live, just the way we build infrastructure, just the way everything works that just makes their life harder than mine. That's just one of the ways that I am privileged and understanding that, embracing that, doesn't make me a bad person, but ignoring it raises the chance that my friends will be excluded in ways that are not obvious to me and as their friend I can't allow that. There's a good chance, as a white person watching this, your life is already hard. Every day you have to overcome some difficulty or challenge just to get by, but you can still have white privilege. White privilege doesn't mean you haven't worked hard or you don't deserve the success you've had. It doesn't mean that your life isn't hard or that you've never suffered. It simply means that your skin colour has not been the cause of your hardship or suffering. There is nothing but a benefit to understanding our own privileges, white and otherwise. It brings us closer to those who are different. It helps us be vigilant about the ways we treat others different than us. It helps us make a society that is fairer and more equal. Having white privilege doesn't make your life easy, but understanding it can help you realise why some people's lives are harder than they should be.' Hopefully that sheds some understanding onto the term, you can take it or leave it. I'm not here to tell you what to think - the above definition judt helped me understand what white privilege is. :)

@@keskeskes2004 hmm. Its implying because one is "white" one is "privileged" = load of bollox. Like i said before, "privilege has no colour" you are either like you say born into a "privileged" life or you are not, if you work hard no matter what colour your skin is you can create your own success and privileges life has to offer and create them for your future family. White priv is a totally bollox term someones created to try and make white people guilty or create the concept because you have caucasian skin that you have a better life than someone who isnt white I just dont agree that term should be used, what if the term "black unprivileged" started? I went to school and grew up with a black girl and we had the same, given the same opportunities. I ended up going to uni and getting my degree in I.T , I dont know what shes doing now but she was very much loved in school and a very bright girl. What im highlighting is no one here is "privileged" and one of us is white and the other black so how can "white" privilege be an accepted term??
