This natural chemistry with the different facets to their relationship is just incredible. The fact that she flat out admitted that they tend to resort back to their adolescent ways (humour) speaks volumes already. Those who aren’t familiar with the British/UK ways, “taking the mickey out of others” which means teasing or being playfully mean on an occasional basis is really a massive form of endearment to those they truly care about. And these two do it at such a natural and regular basis that to deny their chemistry is like lying to one’s own self. Good actors or actresses they may be but on and off screen with that much body contact, especially from a UK background is not really that normal to be honest. There’s that occasional hug here and there but these two... are on another level.

They are great actors by themselves, but together, they are off the charts. The stars did align with these 2 lovebirds, no doubt. Their Body Language tells their story,

Their professionalism is second to none & they kept it purely professional otherwise it could have spoiled the relationship & show, the onscreen love story is the very Best I’ve ever seen, brilliant actors, fabulous friendship. A revival of that chemistry (which isn’t totally missing) would assure the success of seasons 6 and 7. I’d love to live long enough to read a memoir by each of them especially regarding Outlander experiences.

Sometimes I see clips of them and think "Yep, there just the best of friends... that's all". THEN... you see clips when they don't know a camera is present or is still on them, and they are so touchy! Both say they are "not a couple", but gosh they sure act like they are. What to think.. oh! what to think! Would actors deny they are dating to reporters just so the focus on THEIR relationship doesn't over shadow the show?
