Great video! Thanks for sharing very helpful. I actually bought the same model today at Costco, which is now sold out in Calgary. I was wondering if you could please share how you added the 7 supports to your deck? Maybe you can share some tips and pics.
@PovertyPointCustoms
Жыл бұрын
I added 10x10 blocks under the deck stringers (and some shims to make it tight)so it would help distribute the weight from the deck right to the ground. The hot tub is roughly 2200lbs when filled with water
@ashleighbennett2137
Жыл бұрын
We were also very thankful that you mentioned the supports! We added 4 total 10 ft, 4x4" deck posts under our already well-built back porch for about $200 extra, along with brackets, deck screws and cement blocks- at 10 feet up, you can't be too careful:)
Thank you, thank you, thank you! These were perhaps the absolute worst written instructions included with anything I’ve tried to DIY. You saved me from probably another HOUR of frustration. Even the pictures didn’t make sense to me. My tub was a little different from yours but close enough to figure it all out.

On my second season with the Saluspa square tub and it’s been great. Definitely put down some artificial grass or outdoor rug for more insulation. It does take a long time to heat up initially and if your using it in a cool climate it will drop 5 degrees or so with the bubbles going for a half hr. For the money it’s been wonderful

Hi, I’m wondering if I can inflate the floor part of the hot tub? I am having trouble with that for some reason
@PovertyPointCustoms
6 ай бұрын
They do not inflate, they have what's called a cushion floor (when it's altogether it will actually feel like the floor is a bit inflated).
Mayday! Need help! The piece above where the chlorine and filter pieces go, almost in the shape of a bar of soap?? It seems air is leaking when I fill the tub. I don’t remember this happening the first time! Is there an issue??
@PovertyPointCustoms

It is a pressure release valve, is your hottub over inflated (really hard etc)
When we get out and cover do we turn power completely off and heat? Of course lose warmth so if we want to go back in next night turn heat back on hours before we go in?
@PovertyPointCustoms
2 ай бұрын
You keep the power onto the pump and the heat on, it circulates the water through the pump to maintain the heat. Just make sure the bubbles are turned off when you cover it.

I'll show it when I do the video in taking it down and storing it for the winter (gets to -30 at times up here in 🇨🇦. I put 10×10 blocks under the deck under the 2x8s so the weight would sit on the blocks (which are on concrete under the deck) that way the weight of the hot tub is going directly to the ground through the blocks and not hanging.
Do u have to buy somthing separate for the hottube to keep it disinfected. What is that thing floating in the hottube end of the vedio. Do u need it
@PovertyPointCustoms
