Starling or a “Me 163” was a rocket powered jet fighter. It can either has it’s armaments as a 20mm MG 151, or a more deadlier 30mm MK 108 (but it’s muzzle velocity is much lower making it slower due to its short barreled). It is capable of being maneuverable aircraft but needs to lower the throttle when turning to avoid the wings being ripped and torn apart. The front of the nose of the aircraft is this little propeller it is used to generate electricity for the aircraft while in flight. The issues the Luftwaffe were experiencing were the dangerous rocket motor pod as it was prone to explode easily within landing, since they were manufactured by forced laborers they would sabotaged the durability of the airframe held by glue that would melt off mid flight. During takeoff of the Me 163 the wheels bogey would be detached shortly afterwards, then had to land with a sort of ice skates gears which if not landed correctly or too hard/fast it is certain that the pilot would injure themselves mostly by a broken spine. Since the Me 163 is a small aircraft with a little space for fuel tanks and uses a rocket motor pod that consumes huge amount it would be only an average 6 minutes of fuel. It makes me feel slightly better knowing it takes you a few tries with your bombing runs. I rarely use jets, but when I do, I royally suck at bombing. I wish there was a mission series that focused on bombing runs, to improve the ability. With that said, great video, keep it up!

It gets easier honestly I recorded my first jet kill roughly 2 years ago and now I have a hangar filled w planes and bombing people is incredible easy it's all about timing get used to the 3rd person camera and for something that goes faster like the seabreeze you have to drop the bombs alot earlier than youd think because of the speed

If you have paddles or extra buttons on your controller I've found it's best to use one for boost and one for rear view in my experience not mashing the sticks while trying to maneuver helps me stay on target alot

The Starling is probably one of the most difficult aircraft to master, especially in in PVP. Every time I died in a Starling was because I crashed. But have never been killed by another player while flying my Starling.

The trick is to tap the boost when you start to slow down, you’ll maintain your speed while still being able to make tight circles and you won’t loose control with a bit of practice.

True but I find at really long range where you have to be fully zoomed to even see the person it's easier to stay scoped in for the reload than switch and re-zoom. At closer ranges this is probably more useful but generally 8 rounds is enough to kill someone at that kind of range

7:13 you become ceo, request aircraft, then request buzzard from ceo menu and then both will spawn next to you. Im unaware of one with kosatka but I'll go and test that soon Edit: yeah for the kosatka one you have to request the air craft first then the sparrow before the jet spawns

Fellow starling pilot approves of this video 👍👍 Friendly advice: maybe consider using “high vehicle camera height” as it makes aiming the MGs easier. Also if evading oppressor rockets use short boosts and stick to horizontal turns, verticals allow rockets to catch u :)

The bombs aren't the only use of the starling offensively. It's also good to practice freeaiming the missles without lock on, you can get deadly accuracy with some practice.

Another cool method for this is to get the death roller on the zr380 and then you don't have to fast when bailing

best trick ever for the bandito is to gently accelerate so they don’t hear it coming , everyone just kills themselves when they hear it
