Thanks Marcellus The comment basically refers to the possibility of stabbing my abseiling partner with the Astia if I fell. Several people have mentioned it. There is always a chance of slipping and falling on the mountains both rock climbing and Salto del Pastor. We usually go jumping on groups and we are used to look after each other to prevent accidents. There are also many procedures to follow if you lose control such there is a lot more to Salto del Pastor climbing down mountains and training as well as experience are a big part of it. This route is not a beginner route by any means and I have upload it to show how Salto del Pastor can help in overcoming difficult terrains. We used abseiling as a reference sport such most people are familiar with it( further down the cliff we both had to go down abseiling such it was not possible to proceed with the Astia. Also, We both went down abseiling several times prior the video to check the route). However, I must say, I have never heard of any practitioner hurting with the Astia another person on cliff and the most dangerous hazard while going down in terrains like this one are falling rocks. That is common to many mountain sports too. Cheers Antonio
